Guys, she's living tissue on a metal endoskeleton.  She could easily have a flesh vagina (with a coltan cervix, of course).  Now if she had a polymimetic alloy covering, things would get weird.  Who knows what her crotch could contain?

ummm I'm not going to comment about the metal/flesh vagina... but I will say the show is ok. My big problem with the show is Sarah Connor. When Linda Hamilton played Sarah she was kick ass (in T2). I felt like she would break your arm just for looking at her the wrong way. I feel that Lena Headey just whines a lot. She doesn't seem hard core at all.

I did like in this weeks episode when the other terminator got his hand chopped off. And all the head trauma amused me.

Another good episode.  It was nice to see Kyle Reese and have a taste of what the future war is like.  Dr. Silberman will be making an appearance on the series.  I think that was him taking with Agent Ellison is taking to, though I could be wrong.  Silberman is the only other character other than Arnold Terminator to be in all three films.  I thought his cameo in the T3 wasn't good enough for the character.

Loved last night's episode.  The irony of Dr. Silberman's fate was a fitting ending.  I can't wait for the 2 hour season finale.

I found the series on line and watched it, it was much better than I expected, the pool scene in the final episode was great.

I've seen the whole series, it's quite entertaining. I was reluctant to give it a chance and didn't watch it straight away. I had a few recorded on my DVD recorder hard drive before I could even be bothered to watch it. I hate to admit I quite like the show, and the actors weren't as difficulat to get used to as I thought they'd be. It kept me interested and wasn't too cheesey. Can't belive the ending though, how could they end like that!... Oh yeah, writers strike damn!...

Did you miss The Dark Knight?
Some of the audience must have come for Christian Bale, although I think that Heath Ledger must have attracted the utmost of the audience.

don't like the tv series, didn't like the third movie, and i've got meager hopes for terminator salvation. i mean, come on, there's no point to making a terminator movie without arnie. and then giving it a pg-13 rating when it's a movie that's post apocalyptic...

I think the show is good, and really looking forward to terminator salvations, but Terminator 3 wouldn't have worked if it hadn't been for Schwatzenegger.

It's official, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is terminated.

It sucks, you'd think they keep that show since the movie is coming out this summer.

I hope they at least give it a decent conclusion, it makes sense to do so as people will be less inclined to buy the DVDs if there is no proper ending, to do so would be like buying a book where you know the last chapter is missing.

so is the new movie going to be a continuation of the continuity created by terminator 3 or the continuity created by the tv show?

I've been wondering that myself. The TV show is most definately non-canon with the movies. But for some reason i think that 3 is considered partly non-canon too... Anyone got linkage?

I seem to recall that the producers of the show said it is in the same canon, since it reference the first film and T2.  If you remember in the pilot episode, John and Sarah were sent a couple years into the future.  Because of that, the events of T3 never happened and thank God.  Season 2 did deal with the notion that because of the constant time travelling it altered the future.

Watched a clip from T2 in Physics last week, which inspired me to buy the Terminator Quadrilogy since I love all the movies and haven't seen them in a while.

Just ordered Seasons 1 and 2 of TSCC too, what should I expect?

I agree captjim.  I actually really liked the 4th installment, and did not expect that.  Much better than the 3rd film in every aspect, although as you stated, it kind of doesn't work quite well to mesh with the future that was depicted in the first movie.

I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one who really liked Salvation. I think it's eons better than T3. And may I say Kyle Reese, young or old, I love all the actors who have played him (in the movie-verse).

Salvation fired on almost all cylinders, and even had an interesting story and shit.  I was upset that the manbot died in the end..... I was like, wtf?  Why kill the guy that's practically indestructible? :(

In the 'Future' section on the 'Terminator (franchise)' Wikipedia page, the final paragraph currently reads:

"It was reported on May 13, 2011, that Megan Ellison and her production company Annapurna Films won the rights to make at least two more Terminator films, including Terminator 5, in an auction deal that is rumoured to have hit the $20 million mark. While actor Arnold Schwarzenegger is said to be up for a substantial role, the film will not be anchored by him, instead a young male actor will take the lead."

Two sources are also given.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is my favorite movie of all time, so I'm interested in anything to do with Terminator, but I'm skeptical. Especially a show chronicling Sarah Connor.

While Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles wasn't the best, it did have its moments. My favorite episode was "Self Made Man".

I hope the new film and television series (if anything ever becomes of them) are great. I could use some new Terminator on my TV, and a new film would be great. I'm intrigued based on what I read in DannyJC13's linked article.

Just seen the new Terminator trailer, I forgot there was a new movie being made until I just saw it pop up on YouTube. It's called Terminator Genisys? Anyway, it was interesting seeing Arnie back, but I was left underwhelmed and very sceptical about the trailer as a whole...

I don't think it's possible to create a decent Terminator film that's true to the originals at this point.

Either you're going to rehash the old films without adding anything new (Terminator 3) or you're going to make a film that's set in the same world but feels completely different because it isn't set in present day or doesn't involve time-travel (Terminator: Salvation).

Or you're going to blow my freaking mind, but I think this is going to land squarely in the rehash category.

Guessing they're gonna go the days of future past route and make an alternate timeline where the last two films never happened

I'm really excited for Genisys, my only concern is that the plot is meant to alter/rewrite the timeline(s) of the first and second films. Really hope they don't completely screw-up those two, but eh, most fans will probably just write it out of canon.

I don't get why Salvation gets so much hate, I thought it was decent; waaaay better than Rise of the Machines. Why can't Genisys rewrite that shitty film from the timeline? Although, The Sarah Connor Chronicles already did that. I still need to finish that show.

My Terminator canon:

Terminator.
Terminator 2.

... That is all.
