I did not see much of Bruce Lee's films; I think I had only seen Enter the dragons, as he died before I was born, so he is not really the movie star of my time. I heard they will make a statue of him in HK by the end of this year; the sculptor is the same who sculpted Deng Xiao Ping.

I've seen all four of his films, including "Enter the Dragon".  I have them all on DVD.

They've been showing the documentary about him on AMC a lot lately.  It's a great store of old footage of him, most of which I collected in the old days and now it isn't worth anything because it's in the documentary.  But it does include the original tower scene he shot for the Game of Death, not the hacked up bullshit in the Hollywood release.

I was watching the thing on tv the other day and thinking, Bruce Lee has to be one of my five favourite people who ever lived.  When I die and go to heaven, there's going to be a short list of people I'm interested in meeting, and he'll probably be number two.

who's number one?  Just curious.

I like Bruce Lee and his movies.  My friends have debated that Bruce Lee could beat both Jackie Chan and Jet Li.

I often dream about what would happen if they did a movie with Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, or Bruce Lee and Jet Li.

Number one is Jesus, duh.

Throw Tony Jaa in there, just to mix it up.
And David Carradine... on ecstacy.

What about God?  It should be God, then Jesus.  I'd want to meet God first when I go to heaven.  Bruce Lee is in my top ten after.

Most of those people aren't dead.

That one scene is on the Enter the Dragon: Special Edition DVD and i think they also put that back into the Movie Game of Death on the DVD version

eggs: We know, but we're doing fictional fights here, pay attention. Also, answer the question... is it me?  :D

LWR: God shmod, he's too lazy to fight, I mean he took a week or so to make the planet and look how fucked up it is because of his shoddy wormanship, and then he sent his son down to fix the damn thing and he was nailed to bits of wood!
What a shit dad.

Number one is Frank Stallone.

Bruce Lee could easily take Jackie Chan and Jet Li in a punch-for-punch fight.  All of these guys rock harder than the pope, but only one of them has a book about how his style transcends and demolishes all other martial arts.

And you're not giving God a fair break.  I mean, where's Mrs. God in all this?  Run off, she did.  You try raising a son as a single father, with all the problems of the world to deal with on top of it, and tell me you'll keep him out of trouble.
