I guess nothing beat the old Futurama commentaries...

But, as I can see in this forum, some of you have a pretty amazing DVD collection.
And most DVDs these days have commentaries in some form.

So, what is you favorite Movie DVD Commentary? and why?

Ill start:

I dont have a very big DVD collection, but i found the Fight Club commentary pretty good.
But it was a bit wired that Helena Bonham Carter was cut inbetween (not recorded the same time as Fincher, Pitt and Norton)

Pretty much any commentary with Bruce Campbell or Jennifer Tilly in it.

The ones on the "Back to the Future" set are probably the best ones I've listened to personally.  I also thought the "Airplane!" one was surprisingly solid.

Cannibal The Musical had a pretty funny Commentary. They drank through the whole thing and then eventually got drunk and left for a strip club just before the movie ended. I actually think it's funnier than the movie, and you find out about the orgins of chef( Matt and Trey were tripping on acid during filming of cannibal, and some old black man started telling them to "Think of the children" ).

My personal favourites:

Almost Famous: Untitled Cut
Shaun Of The Dead (both the cast and director/writer commentaries are pure genius!)
Vanilla Sky (Commentary with backing music, bizarre!)
Jersey Girl (Kevin Smith & Ben Affleck)

I just heard the commentary to Snatch, and it was pretty funny...Guy Ritchie actually gets mad at the producer for being so boring at the commentary and insults him all the time

There's already a thread like this somewhere, and it also died when I pointed out that nothing can compete with Spinal Tap.

So true... that ruined all other commentaries for me.

The original Clerks commentary, in which Jason Mewes progressively gets drunk and winds up falling asleep under the table. And then Smith and Mosier harass the hell of him. It's so good, they kept it when the Clerks X DVD came out.

The Evil Dead comentaries are funny because Sam Raimi always makes fun of the rubbish special effects they used.

I thought the Daredevil (Theatrical Version) commentary was quite good. Just because they kept looking at the films flaws, rather than patting each other on tha back.

"You see that guy in the background, he's dead..."
"...How do you know?"
"Well... I just assume...."
