Anyone here like David Spade and Chris Farley's movies?  Although they only made two, both were good.  Unfortunately, Chris Farley died in 1997.  The question is, if Chris Farley had lived, would he and David Spade still have made movies together?  Or would Chris Farley have moved onto more better things?

Plus, would there have been a movie where Chris Farley played the smart guy and David Spade played the moron?

I think if Farley lived he'd be in some movies with Spade, sort of like Sandler and Schneider. I could see Farley in Joe Dirt, being some random character. I'd also see Farley somewhere in Mr. Deeds. I think he'd be in more SNL alumni movies, like other alumni from that era have done.

I just don't see Spade as a moron in a movie. He's a smart-ass in almost every role, and Farley a "moron" in almost every role.

David Spade was in Conehead? I remember Chris as the cop, but not Spade.

I love all Chris Farely movies. Even the ones where he's only in it for a little while. Like Dirty Work and Billy Madison. The scene in Madison when Chris and Adam are going back an forth about the hot teacher is hilarious. I'll have to watch the movie and get the quote.

I'm extremely happy that they're playing Chris Farley movies on TBS. Tommy Boy and Beverly Hills Ninja are incredibly funny movies. Hopefully they'll start playing Dirty Work, it's my favorite comedy of all time. If you've never seen it, please check it out. It's really funny.

why is Chris Farley the one you assume would have moved "onto more better things"? I mean, David Spade is no Andy Dick, or Chris Kattan, but he's gotten a lot more work in the last few years than Chris Farley.

Spade was the "cop", Farley was the boyfriend.

Yeah, Spade would have been far more successful if Farly had lived. But then we also wouldn't have had just shoot me, so maybe it was for the best..

Yeah, I was thinking of Airheads, sorry.

I never saw Coneheads. I am aware of it though.

David Spade could've been in Beverly Hills Ninja. Hell, Chris Farley could've been in Joe Dirt, had he lived.  I think some years down the road, maybe they would've became the new Laurel and Hardy or Abbott and Costello or something like that.  That is if they had made more movies together.  Of course they would've probably branched out into other ventures and David Spade probably wouldn't be involved in mediocre sit-coms.

Plus, I think David Spade and Chris Farley should've played Mario and Luigi in that 'Super Mario Bros.' movie.  They would've been a better choice than Bob Hoskins and Jon Legizamo.  Oh, and another thing, David Spade is getting his own show soon on Comedy Central!

I thought Spade was excellent in Just Shoot Me and great in 8 Simple Rules, though many downplay his performance since he was pretty much replacing John Ritter. The news of Spade on Comedy Central sounds good. It may be his chance to spread out his smart assiness even more.
