Assuming you are talking about the american grosses, your brain definitely stroked off there for a bit. Harry Potter has around 300 million right now. LOTR has like half that, but it hasn't been out for as long.

The movie was excellent.  There were some parts I would of really changed to make it a truly epic film, but it was worht my $7.  The fantasy atmosphere was captured seemlessly.  I'll have to buy the DVD now perhaps.

Maybe you mean LotR is doing better this weekend which it did.  Almost making 3x more than Potter this weekend.  But Harry did beat out kate and leopold  ;)
I'm shocked at how well LotR is doing, while Harry Potter made mega bucks I don't think it will break anymore records that the JP2 opening weekend record.

Kate and Leopold?

WTF!?!

Never heard of it.   :hmpf:
Probably because I'm British and don't these things like new American movies until about half a year later.

Ha, I'm only kidding.   :p

So, is it any good then?

Amen VelourFog.  I think Wolverine should stick with Xmen 2.   Kate & Leopold looks like a B-rate love story made for Lifetime.

Eeh...
This movie wasn't so good at all. It was to little like the book  :( Too much action and too little atmosphere!
No.. I didn't like it very much.

Rating: 3/5

PS. Here in sweden 7 year olds could see it! It's a disgrace, it was far too violent for 7 year olds...

I thought it was great!  :p

although there were some little kids sat next to us, who kept going to the toilet because they were scared! and on the other side of me was an old granny, who kept coughing and messing about with her hand bag

still good though  :)

best movie ever!!!
I'll give it 10/10 or 5/5.

PS. In Norway 11 year old kids could watch it, and if the parents was with them 7 year old kids could watch it.
Many thought that it should be 15 years... Anyway, It's a really great movie!!!  :)  :D  :)

Oh, Nix is gonna have a fit when he sees those posts.  :laff:

Anyway, just saw the movie a couple of days ago, again. Still holds up pretty good. Not the best movie ever, like that pool on IMDB suggests, but still high up on the list.

I think you really have to see them all, before you can judge it fairly.
