Yeap, thats pretty common in sci-fi.. The entire ship looses energy, even to the point that basics like light- heat fail but there is still a good 1G of artificial gravity.. same goes in Star Trek (everytime they board a "adrift disabled ship" its ruined inside, corpses, no energy but the artificial gravity works much fine.. Galactica (when they boarded the "ill-Basestar" ).. Babylon 5 tooks the gravity more seriously , but still falls in same mistakes (there is one episode in season 5 in wich a White Star is totally disabled but still has gravity.. etc) alltought they took it with humour , for example in the spin-off Crusade, it was stated that when the Excalibur fires its main guns it looses all energy for one minute except "life support and gravity". Also funny is how in many of those shows, when a ship is attacked , someone ussualy dies crushed by falling debri , wich is falling because there is an artificial gravity system working wich didnt failed in the attack.. Killed by technology made for confort...

Yes. Also, the crew probably would have noticed his body missing after the battle. I'd say he was buried on that stony bluff in the final scenes of Serenity.

...And we shall call it... 'This Land'.
I think we should call it Your Grave.

I simply wouldn't. Anymore than I would consider replacing my own mother with a similar-looking-yet-significantly-more-expensive woman.

Bumped 'cause I done this, which I think is pretty neat: Mal: "Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. Whaddya suppose that makes us, pointy ears?" Spock: "If memory serves, the phrase you have a predilection for repeating is 'big damn heroes', Captain." Mal: "Ain't we just!" McCoy: "I'm a Doctor, not a big damn hero."

Not that I'm compaining, mind. I'm guessing "nudity" isn't a problem with any of her contracts. But yeah that's exactly what I thought when I saw that. This role is so similar to hers in Firefly - she's kinda psychic to everything around her, kicks ass as a fighter, and of course, the nudity haha. The only thing different is she's not completely off the deep end like in Firefly - but I don't know, I only saw bits and pieces of it last night. That promo pic they have of her doesn't look like her to me, which is why I didn't even know she was in this until watching it during channel flips. I dunno, I think I'll continue to think of her as just a powerful little girl like on Firefly.

It was network television. In the US. What do you think?

So she has a pro-nudity clause? I approve.
Although, I think Christina Henricks' pro-nudity clause would make me happier.
