I do actually, I don't buy that trash, but a friend (who does) gave the DVDs to me. They're quite cool (for a freeby) Anthony Danield REALLY camps it up whilst introducing the DVD, funny stuff.

The original Star Wars movies were really just adventure stories with a small amount of emotion, and a lot of awesome action, and yet are far superior to George Lucas' attempt at recent movies which replaced a lot of legitimate action with special effects feats and try to shove as much emotion as they can up your ass. You simply can't create a legitimate epic out of a story where one side is pure good and the other is pure evil. If George Lucas remade the originals he would try to turn everything into an emotional pussyfest, killing a lot of what was awesome about Star Wars in the first place.

EDIT: I thought the thread was remake, not re-release. Apologies for the irrelivence.

Admit it all, when you saw the Gungans in the SE ROTJ, you wanted to nuke Naboo.

I certainly did.

Yeah, the Original Star wars were Shit. But they were innovative shit so you didn't notice.

Theres nothing special about the new ones.

Can I point out that the originals are 20 years old? Actually the first one will be 30 years old in 2 years. Times of movies have changed. I like the originals.
