Yeah, Frank Woodley and Hamish Blake were my two favourites on Thank God You're here.

Family guy's into it's fifth Season on 7 and American dad is in it's Second.

Also, "Simpsons Christmas Stories" is on this Tuesday. Finally.

In broadcast order, though. In terms of production order, Family Guy's still on Season 4 and American Dad's still on Season 1. Either way, they're both approaching the end of their run, I expect American Dad will be finishing this month, and Family Guy sometime in July (as will Arrested Development, which now has 7 episodes left - Prison Break-In is airing next Monday).

I doubt anyone in their right mind would watch it, that show's going to kill itself eventually.

Two weeks of without new Chaser content... damn. Oh well, at least they're doing a "best of" thing and not just flat-out repeats. Last night's episode was hilarious. "NO, GARY, NO!"   :laff:

And The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is coming to The Comedy Channel next month. FUCK YEAH! It's going to make the best 1.5 hour period after Conan.   :D

EDIT: OH NOES! I just found out... SBS IS GOING COMMERCIAL!!!  http://www.yourtv.com.au/news/index.cfm?i=86694  - It's a sign of the apocalypse, people!

This week is the Final of "Thank God You're Here". It should be a really good one. It's got Frank Woodley, Shaun Micallef, Angus Samson(I think his last name is) and Akmal.

The Simpsons reruns are starting again! Applause has been long overdue!     :flirt:

We're back to 'Bart Gets An F'! I love it when this happens. Nostalgia is one of my favourite things in the world, I cannot think of something I love more, there is really nothing, I had a real anti-bummner of a childhood, I loved every minute! It's such a shame Channel 10 has to rely entirely on old Simpsons reruns for survival, but it is fantastic for the viewer. That is you and you should appreciate it.

START APPRECIATING.

EDIT: Darn you Bart Junior, Long John Silver is way overrated! Way, I say!

EDIT2: If only you stayed cool, Martin. Cool Martin shall be missed.  :(

I wish Channel Ten would repeat Season 1 some time, they always go from Seasons 2-9, then show half of Season 10, about three episodes from Season 12, then back to Season 2 again. They should just move it to a 7:00pm slot so they can run straight through Seasons 10-13 without having to cut episodes for the G-rated slot (with the exception of Weekend at Burnsies, of course).

The last ever episode of Arrested Development aired last night. Taste the sad.  :(

I'm so entirely "over" the Simpsons. I know every joke and what they're going to say 5 minutes before that character speaks (I'm talking about S1 - S8, though). I haven't bothered with the "new Simpsons". I'm always asleep whenever they're on TEN, anyway.

I watched Scrubs two weeks ago for the first time since last year when I had Foxtel.

...I didn't know what the hell was going on. The last episode I saw was when JD was attending to some lady in a cat-scan (??) machine, and you didn't get to see her face for ages. Well, that episode when she first goes into the machine was when I stopped watching.

...What the fuck is going on?

RE: Daily Show. I use to watch the Daily Show on CNN once a week. It was only on for like a half-hour, I think (it was just a splashed together of the week's episodes from the States, I guess). I remember laughing a few times at Steven Colbert.. never Jon Stewart himself. Heh.

1. You're asleep at 7:30pm?

2. Give Scrubs another chance, I didn't like it at first but it grows on you. And seriously, the "reason" you gave for not watching it was just fucking stupid.

3. I never knew The Daily Show was on CNN, though SBS used to show it in 2003/2004-ish under the title The Weekly Daily Show, which was indeed just a compilation of highlights from the entire week. For every good moment Jon Stewart has, there's one that's just plain painful to watch. Colbert is hilarious, though.

I never "gave it up".  :hmpf: I only started watching it again because I finally bought a TV a couple of weeks ago since I moved last year. It was pretty hard to watch a show without any money to spare to buy the DVD-sets or a TV or with a lousy Internet connection during that time. MIRITE?!

Man. Why is everybody so crabby tonight?!

Alias_007 - Indeed. Oh well, at least they ended at their peak, the last two episodes of the series are the best two in my opinion. And we've always got the looking-increasingly-more-likely-to-happen movie to look forward to.  :)

I have something like that on my MSN name. I'd hit that though. I bet she'll commit suicide in 6 years, you watch.

I heard there's a new video game show on Channel 10 called Cybershack. 11pm, Tuesday. I read about it in Zoo. I am expecting a biased opinion on the Australian video game market.

Also, 24 is ending. Tear.

Edit: Cybershack -   :nono:

I mean WTF, are these channels so patetic that they can't think of anything remotly better to put on?

I'd rather watch the turkish version of "The Nanny", if only it where on every weekday other than monday.   :)

Re: 24. It should have ended at season 3, or at least dropped Kiefer and switch to another character. HAlfway through S3 Kiefer said he wouldn't go beyond a third, because it gets to the point where you think "How could all this happen to ONE guy...all in ONE day periods?". One funny thing i heard about season 5, is that since the common questions asked about the show were "Why do we never see jack eating/sleeping/going to the bathroom?" they had an opening scene of jack walking out of the bathroom in his pj's eating a sandwich. Hee.
EDIT: They didn't end up using it of course.

Also, how many seasons of AD are there? 2 or 3?

Also, should i ruin lost for the Australia fans now? its a horrible ending! i hate them! But i want season 3 already damnit!

Don't you ruin nothing damn you!

24 is having 2 more seasons AND a movie. Half excitement/dissapointment.

That Nikki on Quizmania is hot.

Mundnie probably read the ping pong tournament as 'porn' and rocked up.

I watched the Turkish version of The Nanny once. Ms Fine was hot.

3 seasons of AD I think.

There are 3 seasons, though some consider it 2.5 since Seasons 2 and 3 were heavily cut back (both were supposed to have 22 episodes, but ended up with 18 in Season 2 and 13 in Season 3). Season 2 will be starting on Foxtel from September 20.  ;)

Well, as someone who's seen every episode of Season 17, I can say that it's not quite as bad as Seasons 10-12, but it's definitely a step backwards after Seasons 15 and 16, which were actually pretty good. The problem is that the show just has this "that'll do" attitude about itself now - the storylines are dull and repetitive, and while the character development is excellent in comparrison to the Scully era, it's just not that funny. But Chay, you should know that Million Dollar Abie (the episode you watched) is easily one of the worst episodes of this season. That was just plain retarded.
