I do. I hope you can buy the Prequals seperately otherwise I'm boned.

I like some changes, Especially the Aldeeran ones in ANH. About Luke shedding a tear after Biggs death, I'm okay but it depends how it is done.

Up for the Extension of Battle of Hoth and see some more shots of the Battle of Endor that will hopefully put the Empire and Rebel Commando's in a new light. As well as seeing more Dead Ewok.

Less Jar Jar Binks is always good. Yoda won't look as bad now in TPM. I'm against Vader flashing back to Padme in ROTJ, Because I hate Portman and it was bad enough Hayden defiled by favourite movie of the OT.

I don't want to see any prequal aliens in Mos Eisley Cantina, not only will it crush more of the EU (Like the removal of the Wolfman) but it'd look out of place.

I'm up for Fett scream change as long as he doesn't sound like a little bitch. Tarzan yell is silly, off it goes. More Imperial March is always good.

I would have been happier if they included a deleted scene where Artoo was hit badly in ROTS and lost some of his features (The frigging rockets for one).

70/30 on the good/bad change scale me thinks.

Lucas wanted to do some. Plus, quite a few of them are good. I especially like the sound of some Jar Jar Lines removed. If they remove all the cheap attempt of humour in Episode I with Binks I'd defiantly get that box set.

I wish Lucas would leave Mos Eisley Cantina alone. First they screw up Han and Greedo, then they remove the Wolfman. There is a reason why you see blood from Ponda Baba's arm after Obi-Wan slices it off, it's been explained that his race has higher blood preassure or something.

Lucas would do all Vader fanboys a favour if he improved the Franken Vader scene. Make Palpatine force Vader to speak the ancient Sith code. It'd be a lot better than 'Where is Padme!11'.

Most of those changes sound pretty stupid, to be honest.
  • We know Luke is upset when Biggs eats a spoonful of laser. It might not be obvious to the emotionally crippled (most Star Wars fans, I s'pose) but it doesn't need something as obvious as the "shed a tear and look sad" cliche. That's no reason to turn him from Jedi Master of the Universe to sooking crybaby.
  • Yoda's facial expressions been touched up? The whole drawcard of Yoda in the original trilogy was the bizarre puppetry.
  • I am definitely opposed to this latest crop of Tarzanphobia from Mr Lucas.  :(

God damn him. It wasn't too long ago that I spent like $50.00 or $60.00 on the Original Trilogy boxset. Now I have to try and sell what I have (which is highly unlikely), or try and get it at Christmas.
But what's the point? In a few months, he'll probably try and release some new DVD sets. This is bull. I'll either get it never, at Christmas, or when the price drops.

It is a kick in the teeth for us 1st Remastetered OT buyers, A shame really because I really want to see Yoda teach Luke how to use a Lightsaber and Snowtroopers be Whampa bait.

By the way, do you have a copy of JKA unplayed and gathering dust? Threat no more, download the Movie Battles Mod and it's Map Pack and give it a try. Good online Star Wars fun.

Me and Bushmeister play it, fun and addictive as crack. Here's the Mod Information on Wikipedia and the Mod download it self. The site is ancient compared to the Mod and needs major updating, join the forums if you have questions and while your there check out the replacement skins and sound packs.

I think he should take it one step further and make it mandatory that all previous iterations of the trilogy must be destroyed and their existence denied. Fans must be coerced into believing that whatever version of Star Wars currently available for sale is the only version that has, is, or ever will be available. Dissidents, such as those who continually pine for a pre-SE DVD release and those who cling to disproven myths such as 'Han shot first', will be rounded up and imprisoned in a special 're-education centre' on Skywalker Ranch until such time as they fall into line.

I like it. I has that 'Orwellian Chic' that is so popular with our politicians and multinational corporations these days.

Well, I'm too lazy to fix it, so it'll just have to stay that way for now, Yoda standing on his head and all.
