I'm pretty sure that if oxygen is cut off to the brain, that person would be weak (and possibly go unconscious), especially if that person is pregnant. "There is no medical reason. She has simply lost the will to live." -As for the weapons cauterizing wounds, I totally agree. Anybody think there was a screw-up in Episode IV, when Obi-Wan cut off that one guy's hand, and when the camera showed the severed limb, there was quite a bit of blood? (Alot, considering it was from a lightsaber.) Didn't that get edited in the dvds or something? And while I'm thinking about it, I want to know how Lucas swung getting the robotic fifth Teletubbie to play the midwife droid.

>^lol, that droid did look familiar. (And it was annoying.) >Anyone notice that close-up of Mace Windu when he was fighting Palpatine? He looked weird as hell. >Also, anyone notice that when Anakin was shown powering up his lightsaber to kill the "younglings", his lightsaber sounded a little different? (This may have just been me though.) Original Poster: Nixorbo I'd have to go and watch again, but I only remember Yoda near collapse during Order 66. -Yoda was shown collapsing a few minutes after Mace died. He was also shown collapsing when the Jedi were being slaughtered. Original Poster: Nixorbo "There is no medical reason. She has simply lost the will to live." -So you're saying the only reason Padme died, was because she lost the will to live? I thought she lost the will to live after Anakin choked her, not before. You're probably right on this point, seeing as she was for a lack of better words'going away' from Anakin, and since she was still conscious when Anakin was choking her. So looking back, you are right. Original Poster: Nixorbo Didn't that get edited in the dvds or something? -No, it didn't get edited in the DVDs. (It wasn't really that violent.)

I'm not asking, otherwise I'd just read the latest VG Cats.
Seriously, I post on the SWG board too and it's bad enough there.

I know, I was just exploiting the ambiguity of his post. It could mean both things.

I think Padame had a desdemona-esque death scene, from Shakespeares Othello. CHOKED! KILLED! AWAKE! BREATHING! MAKING A COMPITENT AND PERSUASIVE ARGUMENT! DEAD! @Eyedol: If it does occur in that scene (I believe it doent come up until order 66) it could also be attributed to the fall of anakin (poerful Jedi) to the sith.

I couldn't really say. I've watched it the whole way through, and then since I work at a movie theater, I've seen various chunks of it.

Palpatine had time to recover, speechify, and name Vader before Yoda had any reaction shot. The reaction shot came directly after The Naming, which infers that was what Yoda was sensing. If the filmmakers wanted Yoda to be reacting to Mace's death, they should have shown it when Mace died.

Well, perhaps the fall did kill him, and falling from a high-rise on Coruscant... it'd take several minutes before he hit the bottom, yeah? But you're probably right. I finally saw it just now BTW - good film, I liked it. Better than I expected. Played very nicely into Episode IV - except the Death Star being there. I think perhaps it could have been better if Palpatine lead Vader into a room where they were dwarfed by a huge hologram of the Death Star. But, meh, that's just me.

No. Windu is dead. Unless anyone wants to see if they can survive being shocked, having your hand lopped off and being thrown out the Empire States Building go ahead. I'll have your stuff in advance .
