Well I've seen this show on fox a few times. A lot of the shorter bits are lame, but it could get better. I've seen the british guy do stand up and he's realy funny. What do you think? Yes or no?

I enjoyed the show quite a bit, although I felt it started to get really bad towards the end of the second season...

I don't think it was that bad. The longer sketches are great, especially ones with the British guy.

Is this the "kelsey grammar presents..." one? if so it's a rehash of a british show, which was equally dire. tim vine is better suited to a 1920's music hall audience 'I say, I say I say....' etc!

and the other one, lee mack, i think just need shooting.

Really? I thought that Lee Mack was the best out of everyone on there...

On a side note, I want it to go on record that The Sketch Show has the worst theme song I've ever heard in my entire life.  :p

yes, it is the kelsey grammar one. I just couldn't spell his name. Ironicly, he is the least funny member of the cast.

I saw a couple of episodes of the british version which were pretty terrible ("I'd like a room for 3 knights please" - lamest sketch ever) but the american version features comedy gods Paul F Tompkins and Mary Lynn Raskujb (of Mr Show fame) so maybe i'll check it out.

Sketch Show usually goes with puns in the shorter ones, and really lame jokes for the longer ones.
I still remember my favourites, back when it was good:
1. When the kid's painting the picture of his teacher, she loves it, he tells her it's supposed to be her, she critizises it. "That's rubbish, Jimmy."
And when they're throwing the little kids out in the garbage.

I wasn't trying to be clever, I was just summarizing my review. If I can express my opinion in three words instead of about fifty, I'd rather do that. (Also, I really just stole it from Spinal Tap.)

To be fair, though, Beamer, the show really IS terrible, thus not really worth spending much time given over to the thought of exactly how to sum up how terrible it is.
