Come down from that High Horse or I won't buy you that SWG Gamecard which I've been considering.

I also recently re-watched Summer Sucks and I like that one now as well. I was cracking up when the band was playing horribley.

Also, I might add FLCL was an awesome anime. One of the best in years, since Eva. It is an honour it respected South Park so much it used it's animation style.

I just started watching SP recently (in the last month) and I have a question for those who know: Are the DVDs censored, like the show on tv? Thanks in advance.

yes. They're made Pre-cencored, for some reason.

It's because the show is finished hours before it airs, and they don' have time to run it past Comedy Central censors.

I think it's better with the bleeps anyway.  We got the Daily Show dvd, which is uncensored, and while the moments of profanity are still very funny, something's missing without the bleep.

With out the bleeps, the episode where they could say "shit" on TV (with the handy counter) wouldn't have been funny (being utterly pointless). I don't know how they'll be able to show this episode in syndication. I can just imagine Cartman at the beginning of the episode saying "Guess what guys, their going to say [bleep] on TV!"

I still need to buy all the DVD's though....except 3.

I aggree, most of the time, it's better censored; bleeps are still funny and nobody cares if you watch it.

Well, that's an exception obviousely... It's funnier non-censored when they're shoving it down your throat like that (Another example being that "history of the f word" flash thingy on the internet).

That reminds me, I have to pay more attention to what seasons are coming out on DVD... I haven't bought any since season 3.

How about you explain to us why you don't like it, (though you didn't state it directly, it is implied)?

October 19.

Anyway, I agree it's funnier with the beeps - mainly because it works as a good comparrison to see what they can and can't get away with. Plus, it's good to leave a little mystery with the lines, even if you can almost always tell what they're saying anyway.

As for The Daily Show, I've barely actually seen it without beeps. The weekly version aired for about 6 months here on and off some time in 2003, and it was uncensored from the third or fourth episode.

I'm going to have to get the South Park DVDs soon. I found a shop a few months ago that imports DVDs, and they stock all the South Park ones. Problem is, they're so damn expensive.  :(

I don't buy the DVDs, because I can watch South Park anytime I want on Comedy Central.  The cover of season 6 looks cool, though.  My cousin Mike is a South Park fan, too.  But, he keeps thinking Kyle's little adopted brother Ike keeps stealing Kyle's glory.   How can I convince him it's not true?

Also, sometimes when he comes to visit me, he makes up some South Park stories about his childhood memories with Kyle.  Also, when we were kids and he used to come over and accuse me of stealing his 'glory'.  What should I do next time he does this?  It's getting annoying.

Beat him with a tie rod end separator until he gets detached retinas.  Then pee in his mouth and take a picture, and send it to Fangoria.

Congratulations, South Park! You deserved it.   :)

I thought the best friend episode is the one where Kenny has the new PSP. He dies and went to heaven to fight the demands from hell while Cartman was trying to get Kenny’s PSP?

That was Awesom-O, and it's a year old so wouldn't be up for nomination anyway. Do your research before posting false information. Best Friends Forever was the Terri Schiavo one.

EDIT: Oh, and the new episodes start October 19.

So, when are the new episodes coming?

Until then; what's everyone's favourite episode?
Mine is: "You Got F*cked in the Ass", due to it's randomness. Followed by "Meet the Jeffersons" and "It's Christmas Time In Canada".
Note: I havn't seen anything from seasons 3-5 and 9.

As for you missing Seasons 3-5 and 9... I wouldn't worry too much about Sesaons 4 and 5 - aside from a few great episodes here and there (eg. Cartman's Silly Hate Crime 2000, Scott Tenorman Must Die), they were nothing special for the most part. Season 3 is pretty good for an early season and has many fan favourites, and a lot of people don't like Season 9, but I think it's terrific so far.
