Well, our beloved South Park thread has finally reached it's final page.

And yes, the person on top yelled out "Hard Nipples". God bless him.

So can the mods please close the previous thread?  :)

And to start it off, does anyone know what this week's episode is about?

Episode news isn't usually announced until the Monday before it airs. It's still early Sunday right now, don't expect it for at least another day...

And on a side note, The fourth South Park thread WILL have the words "dog shit taco" in the title, god damnit!  :p

905 - The Losing Edge
I can't really see why some people have given this episode that bad a review. I thought it was pretty well done, with the reverse trash-talking, "Bat Dad" and the return of Kyle.
"Don't throw the ball too fast or I may be startled and I have asthma!"
"I think I need a jaaicket!"
This episode also led me to believe that Trey and Matt are secretly stalking me. (I said in a review on Beamer's forum that I'd like to see Kenny without a hood permanently. 3 predictions so far) So overall, a pretty good episode.
Season 9 has so far shaped up to be a pretty average season, sadly.

905 - A+ An entire episode w/ Kenny running around un-hooded. That makes this an ep. like no other.

The Losing Edge

I loved this episode! Baseball being my favorite sport, it was great seeing an episode shaped around it. All the teams wanting to lose was great, Kyle was great, and Randy fighting everyone was the best thing ever! To nit-pick, though, the scoreboard for one game was pretty screwed. South Park was the away team, so they should have been batting first, and the scoreboard was being used bottom to top when it should have been used to top to bottom. Anyway, great episode!

I started to watch South Park again on the Paramount Channel. The Uk may be far behind from the US by showing the new episodes. So sorry for my review to be out of date.

Good Times With Weapons
I like the South Park Anime style when they go to the fighting mode. The Anime Cartman is funny looking and the Anime Stan is a bit nice looking and awww I feel sorry for butters. The funny scene from the episode is the bit where Cartman was naked on stage and everybody was outrage by it.

Up the Down Steroid
I don’t know how they can get away with this episode and you got to hate Cartman for pretending to be a disabled kid so that he can try and cheat his way in the Special Olympics. So I can see that Jimmy the new main character and I like him because he is a good character. Timmy is good too.

Losing Edge - Classic South Park reversal story, it was good.
I liked the Super Drunken Dad, and the return of Kyle's cousin Kyle.

The Losing Edge

I can't believe how many people didn't like this episode... I loved it. Easily the best episode this season, so far. Of course, there wasn't a whole lot of competition. Randy beating up all of the other dads was classic, and it was nice to see Kyle 1 again.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I thought this was America! I'm sorry!"

It's even better 'cause it gets even more slurred everytime he says. By the end it's just "Ighsari! Ifatisasamica!"

Looks good, I was wondering when this was going to air.  :)

By the way, has anyone else noticed Season 9 is the only season in a LONG time to have every episode air in order so far?

Cartman died?

Anywho, this episode is obviously a spoof on the 'Sixth Sense', and I'm worried that it may be a bit stupid. I mean, we've had DOZENS of those shitty "I see dead people" jokes in more shapes and forms than I can think of.

I'm thinking maybe it's more like the episode when Cartman makes Butters think that there was a nuclear war so he could go to Casa Banita.

But either is good...

They seem to be doing a "Cartman tricks Butters" episode every season... First with Casa Bonita, then Awesom-O, and now this. Not that I'm complaining, these episodes are always great.  :)

It was Okay, but not worth 10/10. Maybe like a 3/10.

Plus, the whole Professor Chaos joke itself might be dead at this point.  Parker and Stone are pretty good about stopping a joke before it gets too trite, so its possible they made a concious decision to phase out Professor Chaos.

The one god damn joke I want them to end is the ongoing fued between Cartman and Kyle. Man, that got old in Season 7.

Anyway, a more extensive synopsis is up now, with a new (disturbing) picture...

From this week's press release:
Butters sees a ghost in an all new episode of "South Park".

Butters is freaked out when he thinks he can communicate with the dead in an all-new episode of “South Park,” entitled “The Death Of Eric Cartman,” premiering Wednesday, April 13 at 10:00 p.m. on Comedy Central.

Although his parents have made it clear to him there are no such things as ghosts, Butters is sure one is haunting him. Butters knows he has to give up his ghost pal or be put into a mental institution.

I'm glad we're getting a new Butters episode, but I'm kinda disapointed by the lack of a Jimmy/Timmy episode yet this season. Here's hoping.

Ummm... why? It's not exactly like Timmy & Jimmy have a reputation for good episodes. Cripple Fight sucked balls, and Krazy Kripples and Up The Down Steroid were fairly average...

I like Cripple Fight personally, but yeah, I don't see the need for another episode about them.  They're better as side characters (Jimmy slowly working his way through "The Twelve Days of Christmas" had me in hysterics).  Though do seem to be absent so far though.

Timmy talking to Mr. Mackey in "Up The Down Steroid" was pretty funny, but I didn't like Krazy Kripples or Cripple Fight either.

And the new picture looks sweeeeeet!  :laff:

Wow, really? I loved Cripple Fight, and liked Krazy Kripples. I agree on Steroid, though. Besides, I just like Jimmy. I guess even being used as a side character like DTBM said would be better than nothing.

"What's a video sandwhich, Jimmy?"

Now that you mention it, though, loved to liked to average does seem like a downhill progression. I'd still like to see one more personally, though. At least they still give me my Butters fix.   :p

Pip had to be one of the worst episodes ever.

The only time that I, personally, liked Pip was when he beat the Chinese at dodgeball.

Well, I saw SP:B,L, &Uc for the first time yesterday at a friend's house, and I loved it! The songs were great!

Any way, I saw that Tweek vs. Craig ep. last night and I thought the running gag was a bit too weird.
