Man, can these Dharma people get any more pompous? Convincing the hatch people that they're going to die if they fail to press the buttons is one thing, but to taunt them with obscure, Egyptian runes instead of good old (well, less old) English is cruel. Frankly, I agree with the other message board--not to be confused with the Others' message board--"DEATH" or "DOOM!" would have been just as effective.
Now we have to go back and find an Egyptian connection to Dharma, Hanso, or Vincent.

And in Ancient Egypt dogs were related to Anubis, the Lord of the Underworld. Anubis in hieroglphys, but it could also be translated as young dog. And everything that has do to with the Underworld and the Dead has to be evil. Which brings us back to Vincent... Btw, was one of the US soldiers in the flashback (the one who interrogated Sayid first) the Marshal from the pilot?Nevermind, I know now that this soldier was What a small world we (or rather they) live in... At first I thought it was the woman Sayid loved from Season 1. But this whole Kate thing throws me off. I think you have mixed two things up here. One, in a flashback Sayid is shown a video of an Iraqi gas attack on a marketplace. His GF, which he had freed from prison, was also there and was apparently killed. Two, one of US soldiers Sayid 'met' was Kate's stepdad and he showed Sayid a picture of Kate, who was of course then a bit younger.

She re-learned pretty quick, if you ask me. Also, oh yes, the previews! An apparent increase in the amount of Libby and the location of yet another Dharma hatch, this time with medical crap and a caduceus on the lid. Will this spell disaster for the survivors? It causes to wonder how many hatches are on the island.

Preview spoiler: Claire enlists the help of IoM resident mental health expert, Libby, to remember what happened to her while she was kidnapped by Ethan. Claire seemed to guide Libby and maybe someone else to another hatch, this one bearing cadeucus inside the Dharma logo. There is some reference to biomedical experimentation done in the dramatic fashion where we hear people reacting to things we can't see.
Then VF gets kidnapped by the Others.

Then VF gets kidnapped by the Others. Two questions. 1. What's IoM? 2. Who's VF?

Wanna bet it's going to end in a "bleeping countdown" cliffhanger?

Again? I doubt it. Right now I wouldn't expect any final revelation. Think about it: We got to see the smoke monster - which simply raised more questions. We bascially saw what happens when the countdown reaches zero...or did we not? Anyway, teasers are called so for a reason.
