Yeah, but it was a little odd that nobody talked about that polar bear. Its like a polar bear on a tropical island is perfectly normal. Plus if there's a dead polar bear hanging around and they're short of food you'd think it might be good for something?

And the episode "Special" basically hinted at that Walt had some kind of ability.

"Strange things happen when Walt is around."

It seems to me that Walt can (among other things) create beings like birds (like that exotic bird that hit the window when Walt was reading in that book about birds), polar bears and maybe even dogs?
Walt doesn't seem to be aware of it, but apparently Locke is.

Besides, I think we all agree that Locke's the man!

No, it's out, I saw it in HMV; considered buying it, then went for FG instaed. It's probably hella cheaper in Wal-Mart anyways...

I watched episode 8 last nights on E4. God Sawyer is a right bastard isn’t he? I just wish that he got killed off from the show.

I found the end a bit dissapointing with the hatch just containing a ladder to an underground "something or other". I wish they had shown us something amazing down the and then finished the series. Also I thought Hurleys back story was by far the worst!

Jaswa: I think they're making it up as they go along, I'm pretty sure J.J. Abrahms (creator man) was quoted to that effect.
And it's pretty much his M.O. to have huge cliffhangers at in season final episodes, case in point: Alias.

Well, Lost did win the Emmy for best Drama last night, but both Locke and Sayid were owned by the one and only James Tiberius Kirk.
