I was digging thru a bunch of my old boxes that were stored away and came across my old Darkwing Duck episodes, so needless to say, guess what I was doing all day today?  :laff:

I know there's been some other previous threads where people have mentioned that they used to watch Darkwing but for those who do (or did), what are your fav episodes/characters/best part of the show etc?  I'd have to say my fav eps are Trading Faces and Darkwing Doubloon and of course DW is my favorite character but Gosalyn is a close second.

On a side note, when I was watching the end credits, it only then dawned on me that the end theme was being played on a sax (which I recently purchased)  I'm just wondering if anyone out there has see the sheet music for it?  I've look on the net but to no avail.  Hell, I'd even be happy for the guitar tab or chords, at least it'll give me a starting point.

I'm also working on a Futurama/DW Crossover sketch right now.  So far I've got Gosalyn basically sketched out but the rest needs some work.  Hope to have it done later this week.

Ah, Darkwing. I haven't seen an episode in donkeys but it's still a classic.

It's a classic indeed, as was Duck Tales. Launchpad was my fave character, but I always loved the baddies. They were so weird and out there. Wasn't there some venus fly trap baddie once, or am I imagining things?...

Bushroot (the half duck, half plant mutant) had a venus fly trap named Spike, so no, you aren't imagining things!    :)Although Spike was more of a baddie sidekick than anything else.

I really loved that show. It was the most origional show for a long time at the time, for Disney to come up with instead of using there astablished charactes in yet another watered down verson of a cartoon. It was funny, origional and fun to watch. Now if only disney would come up with more stuff like this instead of annoying and or stuff that was done over and over again .

I saw this when they had it on ToonDisney.
I was rather obsessed with it for a while.
When we did mealworms in Science in second grade, when mine turned into a beetle I named it Darkwing.
Anyway, I liked that joker-dude. I can't seem to remember his name.

Yeah, Quacker-jack is kinda loopy.  Him and Mr. Banana Brain!

It was Cracker-Jack, wasn't it?

The series was basically 'Bat-Duck,' though with a large portion of noir fun elements removed...

I always kinda thought of DW as a cross between Batman and Spider-Man. The whole dark element but with the wise assed remarks.

He's more like a cross between Batman and the Sandman.

I remember the Liquidator.  He was funny.  He was a direct parody of Hydro-man.

Megavolt was like a cross between Electro and Shocker.

That's some nice stuff. And I miss DW...and Goof Troop. Those two were good stuff.

I'm in the middle of doing another crossover pic.  Let's just say it has to do with Fry, Launchpad and 2 dead Brain slugs!  :laff:

I just got all the episodes on DVD and watched them all (I think). I loved the way they would always go on about his ego. And Gozalyn was just adorable. Loved the pink and purple outfit too    :)

Megavolt was the best (voiced by Castellaneta of course) supervillian. His lines were obviously influenced by Dan.    :D

I think I remember Darkwing being on after school when I was a wee thing.  I think my favourite deal about the show was when he did kung fu moves, he would should absurd things, one of which was "Spittahoing!"  I still say that to this day.

I don't remember anything else about the show, except that Launchpad was on it.
