I haven't seen HP nor read the books (I might someday, but I'm currently in the middle of reading Raymond. E. Feists Midkemia-books). Anyway, I'm definately going to see LOTR. I might even go to see it on 19th Dec. at 00:01 local time. Oh, and in Finland LOTR got a K15-rating. It's high considering that most other countries gave K11, and it has been discussed at various forums, if it was a right decision or not. One thing is certain: it will greatly reduce the amount of kiddies in the movie theater. Though the K15 rating might have been given as a precaution. If Two Towers and The Return of The King feature more violence, it is desirable for the whole trilogy to have one rating. At least Return of The King WILL feature some grisly scenes if they have filmed the scene where the orcs branded Sauron's eye on the foreheads of the killed men of Minas Tirith and used catapults to send the heads back to the city's defenders... talk about psychological warfare. ------------------ Nova - Pekka Saarimaa Webmaster of LiC.

i think the books are quite ok, i've read all 4. but the movie sucks. i'll never go to see it, because i have my own images of the characters in my mind, and i want it to stay that way. i think especially with this book, that's important. but lord of the rings (both books and film) rules. LotR r0x0r2!
