Wow. A "Home Alone" parody. We're really on the cutting edge of humor here.

BUMP!

I am still enjoying the show. BBC3 are going the show Blue Harvest on Sunday with the new episode the following week.

I enjoyed the episode with Stewie dancing with Gene Kelly. That was class!

Oh, "Road to Rupert", that was a good one.
No idea, but looking forward to "Long John Peter" coming up this weekend:

I was a little disappointed with The Former Life of Brian. It was just ones where it just didn't go well. No idea why.

That poster looked so cool. I watched the episode last night where Chris goes to Boarding shcool. Love the return of the Chicken fight with Peter. I just wanted to know in which episodes did Peter fights with the chicken?

Long John Peter looks pretty cool.

Peter looks good in a pirate hat and captain's jacket.

I read they might be giving The Wrath of Khan the Blue Harvest treatment, and their Empire Strikes Back version is nearly finished production.

Long John Peter was a stupid episode. But reading some of the upcoming episodes for next season, some seem like they'll be good and some seem just awful. My opinion on Family Guy differs, sometimes I can watch it with pleasure sometimes I wish they had more Office reruns on every channel.

Ah...Angela and Dwight fucked during the last episode.

Has anybody seen the new episode Love Blactually?

I thought the episode was ok. Loved the bit where Brain (and Stewie) dressed as Snoopy and did his dance. His girlfriend is a slut.

Cleveland's message to Loretta in the end  was so sweet

Yeah. The last few weeks, I've been wondering why I even stayed up to watch it, all I end up doing is sit in unamused silence and grimace occasionally. But that might be the Metamucil. :hmpf:

I liked the episodes of American Dad that were on afterwards, though. Last week had angels and people learning valuable lessons! And Scrubs is back on this week! :)

There will (seriously) be a Bones / Family Guy Crossover coming our way in the near future.

So, am I the only one who finds this new trend of ending the episode on "Who cares if we don't conclude the story, the audience doesn't give a fuck" really arrogant of the writers? I mean I know that FG has that whole 4th wall thing going but the message I'm getting is "You don't care what our show is about, just as long as your amused for 22 minutes. So why don't you go do something better with your time."

I kind of want to punch them.

Yeah, the Star Trek parts weren't that great, I thought there would have been more to it. I guess not having grown up with Star Trek I may have missed some hilarious references or something? :hmpf:

Rob Lowe/Adam West was kind of fun. I think it's been a while since they had a real people moment.

I've heard of the Bone/Family Guy crossover.  On TV.com it's supposed to be one of the characters having a hallucination of Stewie or something like that.  They don't meet the Family Guy characters.

If Family Guy is doing a crossover with Bones, why not have American Dad do a crossover with House?   That would be awesome!

I just seen Family Guy - Stew-roids" The episode was really good. Seeing Stewie in Steroids was very disturbing. Chris dating Connie D'Amico was ok and I loved his shocking video too. that was also disturbing.

Just watched season 5 so far, pretty weak... even less of a plot to the shows than there used to be. TNG ep was weak apart from the "girl boobs" line.

The 6-minute random song interludes are really annoying, with the bag of weed song being the only decent one. Not sure what the hell they were doing with the 50's song in the middle of the horse episode, but I'm glad I had access to a working fast forward button.

Some of the apparent humour is just too dark to work... look, peter is slicing up a pet cat with a razor blade, really funny. :hmpf:

Used to like it, but at this point I wouldn't be too bothered if it got cancelled again.

I think they're just doing whatever the hell they fell like because they think they're invincible. They do have American Dad to fall back on, I guess.

Or the "Horton Hears Domestic Abuse but Doesn't Do Anything About It", oh yeah that was a knee-slapper.

Look what Family Guy drives on is really effed up humor, however sometimes they take it too far. As for the killing the cat thing, I thought that was really horrible until Peter and Brian get pulled over by the police and arrest Brian for the weed and not the cat. The fucked-uppid-ness of that was kind of funny because it's really not far from the truth when it comes to marijuana (Thanks Reefer Madness by Eric Schlosser).

But I agree with Any1else, the ego of the Family Guy staff is resulting in some pretty shitty episodes. Although the last one wasn't that bad. It actually had a beginning-middle-end that didn't involve a 4th wall reference in to how lazy they were with coming up with a complete plot.

Like the end of FOX-y Lady pissed me off. It was like a big middle finger to all the viewers.

I've been really disappointed with Family Guy lately. The stuff from the first few seasons was great but it isn't really the same anymore.  It was better when Stewie was evil instead of gay and Brian wasn't so preachy. The laziness when it comes to actually making a plot is annoying too.

oh come on! Horton Hears Domestic Abuse In The Other Apartment But Doesn't Call 911 was a knee slapper... At least I thought so. I don't understand how any dark humour could be "too dark to work". I will say that if Family Guy were to get cancelled but not American Dad I wouldn't really mind that much because I think American Dad is much better than Family Guy.

Man, there was just an episode full of references to Hitler, Back to the Future, and Little Shop of Horrors last week. Does it even count as satire when they preface pop culture references WITH A LENGTHY INTRODUCTION?

How does this justify 7+ seasons and a spin-off while a show about a pastry chef who solves murders by interrupting the sleep of the damned gets ignored and shelved after two seasons? Oh, wait... I get it now. We're living the evil parallel universe! :)

I don't know, I mean there's plenty of stuff that Family Guy shows/talks about that is really offensive but I don't mind it, but I think the domestic abuse thing was kind of ruined by the realistic-ness of it. I could picture what was going on and it wasn't funny.

But I agree, American Dad has gotten better by each season, Family Guy is going in the crapper. I think because AD actually tries to give us actual plots. Keep American Dad going, I say.
