I've not see ROTS yet, And I've been battling like hell to avoid spoilers everywhere.

Vader oddly enough does feel pain still for some reason, he reacted like his actual hand had been sliced off in ROTJ by Luke. Oh, and Vader even rocks when he's hit. The sounds he makes in ESB when Luke slashes a fleshy bit on his arm in the first dual just rocked.

It was like Eeehnugh!

Nix: that's exactly where I got that info from.  That must have been a Common...

Alright, the answer depends on a few things, because Vader/Anakin loses at least one limb twice:
Movies only, no double counting: five.
Movies only, counting repeats: six.
Movies and EU, no double counting: five.
Movies and EU, counting repeats: seven.

EDIT: Nurdy, get your ass to the theater, son.

I think maybe Spacedal has seen the raw footage. When it was put in there for the SE (which was unnecessary, I think, but maybe a good thing after all, had the CG only been better) the guy was replaced with a CG Hutt.

Nerd-O: Waiting for my friends to decide when we get our asses into the Cinema. I haven't watched a SW movie in one since Episode I when it first came out, and watching movies with friends is a lot of fun.

Holy crap! Holllly crap! This is the best fanmade thing Star Wars fans have ever done!

Get a Torrent Application (I use BitComet) and watch this. It's 21 minutes long too!

Sorry to post this in Trivia, but it is that good. I love CGI again now too. Oh, and I'll be seeing Episode III on Thursday.

Argh, too many female STs!
The CGI bits were cool.

So what happened to the Jango Fett clones, did they get replaced with martial law?

How many distinct "Sith Empires" - that is, Empires led by a Dark Lord of the Sith - have been declared?

Are we counting KotORiginal and KoTwOR, and if so, light or dark side endings?

*sigh* Better go with lightside, especially since I don't know how Sith Lords' Dark ending goes.

I believe it's four Empires, with to shown in KotorI, one in KotorII, and another in the movies?

Lesse... therer's the ancient Sith Empire, the one formed by a combination of fallen Jedi and the Sith specied (that one got squeltched by the Republic 5000 years before ANH... but apparently, according to what I've read, a great deal of it still exists as of the time of KOTOR2).

There's Exar Kun and his attempt to rebuild the Empire (he failed).

There's the Reven/Malak Empire of the Star Forge (blammo).

Did Sion and Nihilus have an Empire going? I ask because a friend of mine hasn't played KOTOR2...

There's another Sith emergence around 1000 years before ANH, which culminates in the battle of Ruusan (where both sides manage to wipe eachother out). This was referenced in the Jedi Knight series (Ruusan is where the Valley of the Jedi was built).

And then there's Darth Sidious' Empire which may not call itself a Sith Empire, but when one considers that it's a wholey owned by a Sith and his good buddy, it may as well be, eh?

Slacky, that sounds about right.  I haven't played KOTwOR either, but from what I gather of the mangled, hacked, and burned storyline, Sion and Nihilus never proclaimed an empire really, they were just sort of...relics.  Either way, I'll give it to you, since you remembered the bit from the Dark Forces series.

Oh, and I wasn't going to count the Clone Emperor's bit either, since that was just a reinstatement of his leadership of the same Empire he'd already started.

Go go Gadget Slacky!

Since only the movies count as true cannon, and since getting a limb cut off twice does not really count, since his question was "how many limbs have the skywalker bla bla bla lost".... they lost 5.  the others weren't really limbs.... anyways nerdo wins, cause him.... I don't care, I don't ask questions.... I just wanted to declare myself ultimate ruler and ummm... smack nurdy in the head for smacking me in the head, since he's ignorant......  *smacks nurdy in the head*

Hah.

Nerd: What's the matter with female Stormtroopers? The EU has female Officers. Well, okay bad example because it was at the time of the Remnant and the Empire was totally different in that period. But I'm sure there would have been some, not a lot but some.

It's better than Alien Stormtroopers, which is totally wrong.

Eh... I was bitching about the female STs...
They're not in the movies or EU I've experienced so it's new to me!
That's why I asked what happened to the Fett clones, were they replaced?

They got really old and died. Even Clones aren't invincble. Just plentiful. Like Red Army soldiers.

I expect they were phased out and The Empire started recruiting the average John Smith in the  years between RTS and ANH.

Of course the STs are not clones... As mentioned elsewhere by some guy, they age as well as everybody else, and by the time the Galactic Empire had become what we see in ANH, they'd all be retired (though I do suppose some would be alive still. They might be the special units, such as the snowtroopers or something- they seemed pretty bad ass.) and the new STs would be ordinary Joes a Joannas.

@Zogo: It is hard when you post questions without merit... I might as well have said "what weapon did Greedo use when he shot first!!!1112??" The question is void, since it defies all that is good and holy.

Kamino doesn't appear in Sith does it? I had often wondered if Kamino was devastated by the CIS in an attempt to halt the production of the massive Republic army - forcing the Republic cum Empire to recruit average Joes. (And from the look of it, very average Joes...)

no it doesnt appear.

By the way, Lucas has said that ANH time stormtroopers are mostly clones but there is many humans alisted along. And that is not only clones of Jango and not only made in Kamino..

even Master Yoda doesn't have a midiclorian count that high!

No Jedi has.
