No, that's Wedge. Presumably, after he pulled out he just stuck around, or something. Maybe he was curious.

Doesn't make sense, what with Patrols of fanatic TIE Pilots and Turbo Laser fire, but explosions in space don't make sense either so meh.

Or maybe after he pulled out ::does not snicker:: he was still beset with TIEs, so he spent his time blowing them up.

My question is how everyone got so far away from the Death Star in such a short amount of time.  But this is a discussion for the actual Star Wars thread.

And if you figure that a flight group is 12 ships (number taken from what I remember of the X-Wing game/book series) then 10 of Luke's wingemen died, plus 11 members of Gold group.

And I count 6 on-screen X-Wing deaths, as well.

The classic explosion escape plot device is a secret compoment installed on all Alliance Fighters and Freighters.

Wahey!  :D

Hmm...now I can't think of any decent stuff  :(
Certainly not as far rammed into the EU novels as everyone else...hmmm
Okay, nice and easy one:
Name the project and location that spawned the B-Wing.

I hadn't noticed that this had been updated..

My guess:
The Slayn & Korpil B-wing starfighter was the outcome of the Shantipole project and I believe it was in the Roche asteroid field.

Again, I did not notice... This thread needs some more attention to get it going.

And by the way- I think I have stumbled upon the answer to M0le's question "who was the last grand admiral?"... I believe he didn't give the answer for that, did he? I can't be bothered backtracking this thread to look for it. And nevermind that. The popular answer would be Grant, since he was the last of the original batch, but I suppose M0le was looking for G.A. Gilad Pellaeon, perhaps?

Easy question: On which planet did Kyle Katarn temporarily fall to the dark side?

This thread dies and gets revived more times than the Jedi order.

Here's a tricky one, name all famous Rogue Squadron members since The Battle of Yavin when it was formed.

Well, to lead the Squadron or becoming an ace pilot of.

Taking part in major battles also helps. This is movie and EU, so feel free to strain the brain a little bit more.

I'd have called it R5-D5, since that's the actual name... Otherwise we'd just name tally them all up using their Rogue Squadron designations and be done with it.

Of course... (this has been explained in three different ways by three different insider sources, so I guess they're just trying either to cover up a slip-up or Han was just bluffing)

I hope this doesn't have anything to do with KOTOR history.
1. (Presumably)When the Seperatist armies invade to kidnap Palpatine.
2. Rebels overtake Coruscant (I can't remember if this is before or after Isard, I haven't read the X-Wing books in a while)
3. Isard launching the Lusankya. (Not really attacked, but when it ran away it demolished about half the city)
4. Yuuzhan Vong invade and take over.
5. New Republic retakes Coruscant from the Yuuzhan Vong.
Probably a few more involving Thrawn, but that's all I can remember.
