Recently i've seen some UK TV shows that i think are worthy of discussion and can probably provide some pretty interesting talk. So i thought a thread about this, on PEEL, would be a good place to discuss UK TV.

I see this thread as a place to talk about and comment upon UK TV shows. I do not think it would be any good if it degenerated into a thread talking about the ins and outs of soaps or reality TV, go to the threads for them. I'd also think it would help to avoid "I just watched this, it was good".

I'd like to get off to a start with tonight's Panorama. Entitled  "Your child's been stabbed"  it was about knives and children in the UK. It was pretty hard-hitting, and i now think i'm pretty lucky to not have come across anything near what was mentioned in that. For those that are interested in it, the BBC website has a version to watch here (See top right) and you can read about it on that page. Anyone else see it, what were your views or comments?

This is my first new thread in some time, lets see how it goes. I can't remember any thread that was for this sort of discussion of shows. The UK Comedy thread doesn't quite cover every aspect of UK television.

I might have watched that one if I hadn't been Tango-ing my buttocks off, but I wonder did anyone see the one about how taking too much vitamins can actually have negative effects?

I take Vitamin C tablets the odd time, mostly around these winter months to relieve flu symptoms, but apparently there's lots of people taking large doses of vitamins every day not realising that it could be doing them more harm than good!
