What desperate acts of attention are celebrities up to today? Anything you can see?

I've noticed David Spade climing down the legitimate entertainment ladder. He was in movies...then a sitcom...now a commercial. The Capital One commercials where he just says no all the time. Also, the guy who played Uncle Leo on Seinfeld was in that stupid Prestone motor oil commercial..."Big yellah dudn't take ovah, I take ovah!"

Britney Spears is a slut and an attention whore.

I am still not sure if her wedding was real or not.

 I suppose being nominated for an Acadamy Award last year is "being washed up?"  Murray's been on a constantly hilarious streak of movies recently and I doubt he's 'washed up.'  IMO, he's the rare comedian who actually has been able to remain funny after growing old.

Oh yes Shatner's washed up. And Leonard Nimoy too. Those damn Priceline commercials prove it all the way to the bank...especially when Nimoy says "Sounds logical" in one of them. What a cheap gimmick.

Bob Patterson lasted only like, one season. He's on some other show now, I forget the name of it. It looks shitty.

Come on, you guys are listing tons of celebrities, what are they up too? You can't be washed up without starring in some cheesy commercial.

Speaking of which, how many commercials has Michael Jordan been in? They even had an Onion news in brief on that..."Michael Jordan Not Exactly Sure What Product He Just Filmed Commercial For". Oh man, that one was a hoot.

Jason Alexander's new show is called "Listen Up". It looks like it blows ass.

I saw David Spade in a credit card commerical the other day. Has he done anything since Dickie Roberts? I'd say he's pretty washed up too.

I heard one of those songs on Triple J and man was it halerious. Just think of the way he sang in "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" and thats what it sounds like.

It's one of the best things that I have ever heard.

Funny, I just saw an artical about how Shatner is so washed up in the Tampa Tribute a weeek ago.

Mark Hammil: The guy was LUKE SKYWALKER and now he's doing cartoons.

Arnold Swarzenager: He was great back when he did The Terminator, Conan the Barbarian and Terminator 2, but that publisity stunt to be govennor made me lose all hope in him.

I think Mark and the woman who played Leia should have been as sucessful as Ford after Star Wars. Oh well, if George does Episode 7 Hammil will look a lot more experienced now with his depressed washed up 'why god! why!?' facial expressions.

@Woodbot:

Hammil:  Washed up in movies, sure, but that guy is a voice over legend now.  He was the freaking Joker, for crying out loud and he was scarier than Nicholson, who is SO washed up.  The real wash ups from Star Wars are Carrie Fisher, James Earl Jones, George Lucas and Harrison Ford.

As for Swarsennager Movie washup?  Sure, but it didn't hurt his political carrer.  The last action governer!

Jack Nicholson is in no way washed up. He's over the hill. There's apparantly a difference.

Shatner's album is a hilarious tragedy.

Every D-Lister in the UK is annoying.

Shatner won an emmy this year, and he's got a lead role in a new series Boston Legal or something, thats not entirely washed up.

I heard Jack Nicholsin retired after that flick that came ouut either a few months or a year ago.

I also noticed how Adam West is guest staring on EVERY cartoon now. He's been on the Fairly Oddparents show three times all ready and was on Jonny Bravo? That's washed up.

odd. If guest starring on two or more cartoons is washed up, then you're implying John DiMaggio, Maurice LaMarche, Billy West, and Lauren Tom are all washed up.

Dustin Diamond (Screech from Saved by the Bell) was on that Celebrity Boxing show a while back. He whooped ass. Now he's on a commercial for a 90's version of Trivial Pursuit. He may still be doing stand-up according to Saved by the Bell's E! True Hollywood story.

Oh, and after his parents stole all of his money, Gary Coleman was a security guard, then on The Surreal Life.

Dave Coulier was on that "My Life is a Sitcom" thing a bit back on ABC Family.

And Charo was on The Surreal Life and makes recouring appearences on Hollywood Squares.

Hm, no one has mentioned Pauly Shore yet. He's pretty washed up now, i'd say...he hasn't done a movie or anything in quite some time. (other than that cameo in Futurama.) Also Eddie Murphy's kinda washed up, as far as live action movies go anyway. Steven Segal is also, too.

Hmm...I'd say Carrot Top, but he's always been washed up, hasn't he?  :laff:

If anything, I think it made him less visible in the public eye. When he was running, it was big news for about a week, then everybody ignored him once he was elected. Way to "jump-start" your career, Arnold.

It's actually called "Pauly Shore is Dead." It's an independent movie he directed, I believe.
