John Dimaggio actually came as a guest star! That was sweet.

This episode moved so freely, and the jokes were all funny and nothing seemed forced! Best episode of the season so far, no problem.

Rating: A+

Does anyone know when Future Drama is going to air again?

We wouldn't have any idea this soon.  My guess, based on the patterns this season, would probably be June, maybe July.  End of May is possible, since the season will officially be done and they'll possibly start airing some reruns already.

Of course you could also "acquire" it if you know how (which I actually don't).

I thought the new episode was really good and it was good to see a grown up Bart and Lisa again. I like the idea of the story line where Bart was in a relationship and tries to impress his girlfriend. I also like the bit with Nelson and the Twins but that was really harsh.

Yes I love the bit where we see Bender. That was a pretty cool scene.

Yes, you could just "acquire" the episode by "getting it from a friend".

Also, if The Simpsons is anything like SNL, then it'll be back on sooner and more often during the rerun season than other shows. This being that they rerun the better rating-wise episodes first and often. With that being, I'll go with what DTB said with the late May and early June as a good possiblity.

"FutureDrama" was easily my favorite episode this season. Even better than "The 7-Beer Snitch" or "Sleeping With the Enemy".

I guess I'm contradicting myself by saying this while on another thread I'm lamenting the warmed-over premise, but this was probably the best episode of the year. I do agree with the poster who said the vision of eight years down the road was skewed; in ways it seemed more futuristic than Bart to the Future or Lisa's Wedding, both of which were set farther ahead. The "there's your boyfriend/girlfriend" schtick was one of the funniest openers they've had in some time, though doesn't it seem a little out of character for liberal Lisa to say that Bart was gay for Moleman as though it were a BAD thing?

Overall, me likes.

Naw, she was just saying it to bug Bart, which she knew it would.

Thank you, but you are completely correct.

So here you go.

That's my point, why even bother reviewing the episode. It seems like reviewing the episode might takes some fun out the show.

How do you know what an honest review is, are you a professional reviewer? I was unaware that we were among a celebrity reviewer.

I'm not going to say that your wrong in sentencing me to death, or calling me a douche, but did you have to call me an ass too?

Oh boyo, Lrrr... There is a difference between an honest review and a correct review. Bender&fry made an honest one, as he said. It has nothing to do with being a pro reviewer or not, it's just personal opinion.
Another thing: There is flewed logic in your comment to the douche/ass/death sentence bit...

Lrr what is your problem, Everyone posts reviews in this threadm many of them a lot more detailed as if they were trying to make a professional quality review. I suppose you realsise you shouldn't pick on those people because they'd rip you to shreds.

Incidently we need a new thread title.

I'm tired of vacation episodes altogether. Even when they are supported by a fairly strong and consistent plot (like this last one), they fall into the same formula and style of humour fairly quickly, and usually aren't too great. Yeah, they can be good, but the quality is too uneven. I wouldn't mind one bit if they never had another vacation episode again (or self-played celebrity, but that's another gripe).

Its accurate, but at the same time I think it would kind of invite people to bash The Simpsons without any criteria (not that everyone who currently criticizes the show in here falls into that category of course).  I wouldn't want something that would make into even more of a "hey, let's talk about how bad The Simpsons is now!" thread, basically.

I might start the thread soon, if no one beats me to it.  I'll try to pick a title in that case.

I watched the one with the gay marriage and was freaked out at the scene where Homer kissed himself but at the same time I was laughing. I find the episode good and challenging
