Hell, we knew that RVD would lose tonight. If he's not released by the end of this week, he'll be forced into attending drug rehab and probably will have to job for a few months after his return as punishment.
The only reason that I can think of on why he won't be released is because he could be main eventing on TNA 60 days after his release.
Think of the 5-star matches that Christian could have with RVD...

RVD has been suspended for 30 days and will have to attend drug conselling. How that affects his push will be later determined. RVD is popular with management and the locker room, so it's said that Vince McMahon is willing to give him another chance.
Sabu's fate is less certain. He probably will be more stongly disciplined since he doesn't have the name power that RVD does.

Ah, the not-so-long-ago good old days. Scott Steiner cuts a complete shoot promo on Flair on WCW Nitro. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67KSJKM3OXA All I ask is a promotion that's not run by a self-indulgent assclown with a small penis.

Yeah, Scott got suspended not only for that, but he had a road rage incidnet where he drove he truck over a man directing traffic whre some road construction was being done. The Steiners were nortorious for shooting and being stiff with newcomers, undercard guys and anybody they thought they could rough up (even giving Mick Foley potatoes). They tried to play rough with Dick Murdoch and Dick Slater one night. The Steiners got their asses handed to them so badly that they bailed out of the match and went back to the dressing room. They never attempted shoots on Murdoch and Slater after that. I never faced the Steiners, but I have been in the ring with both Murdoch (RIP) and Slater at different times - both were tough, ornery bastards that I wouldn't cross for any amount of money. -------------- Infamous match from Florida Championship Wrestling where Bruiser Brody won't sell and scares the shit out of Lex Luger. Luger climbs out of the cage and runs to the dressing room like a scared little girl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsHwFyY3jrk

I've gotta add this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8TSCiiG3YQ&mode=related&search=Cornette The only man in wrestling that I still respect and admire today. Jimmy Cornette (we even share the same birthday)! Vince, this is how a manager is suppose to act. ---- Edit: Holy Christ! YouTube has a load of Jim Cornette interviews. This guy is better than I remember.

For Melllvar and other fans: TNA and Jim Cornette - awesome shit almost 12 minutes long: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8TSCiiG3YQ&mode=related&search= ---- On ECW - Flair vs. TBS? I'm as big a Flair mark as anybody - hell, I wrestled the guy several times in 1979 and 1980 - but there is no way in hell this match an be any good! I love Flair and the angle between him and Foley is a worked shoot - the two legit hate each other. Still, Mick's promo on Flair on RAW kicked Flair's ass.

OK, cleaning out my garage, I found some old (1985) tapes of WCCW - I'm transferring some of them to DVD and if I can figure out how to upload videos to YouTube, I'll have 2 Fabulous Freebird matches and 2 Michael Hayes matches on today.
There's also a young Jim Cornette with the original Midnight Express on this tape!

I never met Bob Sr, but I've been in the ring and in bars with Bob Jr. Jr's a hell of a nice guy - great work ethic, fun to be around, etc.
Randy's a little punk bitch. The only reason he has a job is because he has the type of body that Vince is a fag for.
Still, the family has my condolences about the pssing of Bob Sr.

And I say:
Congrats to Booker T. He's deserved a chance to have a title run for several years.
Let's just hope he holds it for a long time.

Steroids, alcohol and pain killers are hard on the liver.
Take my word for it - most wrestlers do all three in excess.

I think this proves why Randy Orton should be cleaning toilets instead of main eventing.
I don't dislike him because he's a heel - I despise him because he's a piss-poor example of a human being.
In the next issue of WWE Magazine Randy Orton discusses his 90 day suspension with the company for the first time reveals the final straw that landed him the suspension shortly after Wrestlemania 22. In the interview, Orton comments, "My problems came to a head when I decided to smoke a joint and someone smelled it and stooged me off. You know who you are, so if you are reading this, thanks. But I've also had a few outbursts of anger on the road. I get loud and verbally abusive. But I've nipped that part of me in the bud."
Orton also discusses tormenting an unnamed WWE Diva who later departed the company (believed to be Amy Weber but not specified in the article), noting that he was fined for the incident, stating, "I just poured a bunch of ointment and Flexall and tanning lotion in her bag; it was like a Louis Vuitton bag. I was fined $8,000 for destroying the bag. I've been fined many, many times."
Orton denied a charge that he put a turd in Weber's bag. As to why he pulled the stunt in the first place, Orton said, "The reality is the company brought in this Diva and she couldn't walk without falling over her own two feet. She had no respect for the business. She'd say, "I'm here to help your show, it's not doing too good. She would call people by the wrong name and rub us the wrong way. I took it upon myself to mess with her my own way."

O.K. Randall doesn't give the entire story:
A) He was verbally and vulgarly abusive towards all female employees except Stepanie McMahon.
B) Vince had to pay Amy Weber a reported mid-six figures to make her not ue the WWE for sexual harrassment. She had a strong case with several other women willing to testify in her behalf, so it was cheaper to pay her off than let the case go to court.
C) His suspension came about when Trish Stratus confronted Randall about his boorish behavior. He called her a 'dumb c*nt' and told her in front of several witnesses that the only reason Trish had a job was because she was 'fucking Vince and Johnny Ace' to keep her spot.
D) The original suspension was to be a way to take Orton off the road and shelve him for the remainder of his 2 year contract. He would be paid the downside (about 50K a year) and then not be renewed. Seeing how he was pulling over 1.5 million a year, he knew that his career would be relagated to the indy scene or being a greeter at Wal-Mart.
E) He doesn't say how he begged Vince and Johnny Ace not to fire him. He had to appologize to Trish in public, attend anger management and is on probation. He's one fuckup from being shelved.
I personally hope he fucks up again. He's just a poor example of a human being.

My friend's father doesn't like wrestling. He says that most of the wrestlers are gay since they spend most of the time touching each other. It brings me to the question, are there any wrestlers that are gay in real life? No more than in any other walk of life. When I first showed up in Georgia and was in the locker room, the late Moondog Spot came up to me and whispered, "Watch you ass, there's a fag in the locker room." To which I answered, "Who?" and he said "Kiss me and you'll find out." Anyway, things like that didn't bother me (because my trainers Moolah and Mae Young were two of the biggest lesbians I've ever met), Spot could tell I was cool with him. He ended up being one of my biggest fans and was always telling Ole Anderson to give me a bigger push. Most of the women wrestlers were lesbians or bi's, but the male population were either buried deep in the closet or mostly straight. I know Pat Patterson is since JR likes to make Patterson jokes. I was never in the same area as Pat Patterson and even I knew he was gay. Rumor was that he liked to pickup the younger guys and the ring boys. Patterson was well known to use his position of power to entice young men to 'play for his team'. It's weird as of late since many people are coming out of the closet. Lance Bass from 'N Sync revealed he was gay. Things have changed in the past 25 years. In the South, if somebody wanted to be a mega-heel and get heat, they would play a gay gimmick. Exotic Adrian Street made a fortune doing that. Even when I was a heel in Florida, we ran an angle where Street and I crossed paths, and with me running a redneck gimmick - being around a gay was not acceptable, so a short feud was born. That's the first time I got cheered - facing Street. The roof almost blew off the buildings as I went down towards the ring and heard the fans chanting 'Kill the fag!' Those fans would have been very upset to know that Street was running that angle and that he and I were in real life pretty good friends.
