ffSO: UPN told WWE that they didn't want Hassan on Smackdown ever again. So instead of giving him a shot against Batista at Summerslam (that was the plan, believe it or not), they had Undertaker squash him and his terror cell and powerbomb him through the stage, where the announcers basically said "he ain't coming back." Both he and Daivari are going to the minor leagues to retool their characters — Hasaan to Ohio Valley Wrestling, Daivari to this new Deep South organization WWE is starting, assuming Katrina hasn't blown it away.

That sucks.  I didn't see what was the problem.  I knew of the London bombings, but I think nothing of it when Hassan and his henchman came out to attack the Undertaker.  It's like with Iron Shiek was wrestling during the United States tension with Iran.  It's ironic that Hassan, in a way, was right.  He was Middle Eastern and he was taking off the roster because he offended people.

-People are still sensitive to terrorism. And this also happened the same day of the London attacks, and aired two days later. Personally, I agreed with everything he said. (Well, maybe not everything, but alot of what he said.) It's just that getting heat by being anti-American is old.

Was reading the first page, and saw the name Dude Love, which reminded me of something.

Wasn't there a Royal Rumble PPV where Foley entered it three times? (As Dude Love, Cactus Jack, and then as himself.) If so, what year was it and did he win?

EDIT: lol, sorry for the double-post, but I forgot that I was the last person to post here in the last few days.

Heh, I've recently been taping over all my recent WWE tapes (recent meaning about a year ago when I stopped recording it) since I don't care about it anymore and since I need recording tapes.

That was the 1998 royal and no he didn't win.

Cactus Jack was eliminated by Chainsaw Charlie

Mankind was eliminated by Goldust

Dude Love was eliminated by Stone Cold and The Rock.

It's sad because this makes Foley a three-time loser.  I wouldn't call him that, I give him props for going along with the 3 faces of foley, I was hoping for him to win.

I saw Raw's homecoming this past Mon and it was a blast.  Austin stunning the whole McManhon family, the iron man match, Mick Foley and Piper getting RKOed by the Ortons, Hogan challenging Austin, HHH beating the hell out of Flair, Matt losing the ladder match, and many more.

Though the RAW vs. Smackdown battle at the end of the show was pointless.  Cena and Angle were once on Smackdown, so it's hard for me to believe that there will be a feud.

Here are the WWE No Mercy results.

As for RAW, I thonk that McManhon will "fire" JR.  Vince said someone was going to get fired after Austin stunned his whole family.  It's already rumored that JR is going to be promoted and that Coach and King with do color commentary for RAW from now on and JR is Austin's friend.  This would allow JR to work behind the scenes.  Of course there is still the idea that it could be a suprise firing.

Also I saw TNA last night on Spike and it reminded me of WCW Saturday night wrestling.  The Dudleys are on TNA as Team 3D, which is kind of corny.

It's funny that they're trying to get you to vote for Rey Mysterio and JBL as the opponents for Edge and Masters, but there's no way Matt Hardy isn't the top vote getter. Meltzer said last year's voting was on the up and up, so if I cared enough to vote, it'd be Hardy and Christian.

TNA is still in its infancy, relative to WWE. Samoa Joe is their can't-miss star, if they treat him right.

I think that now that TNA has gotten a TV deal and has even taken over WWE's timeslot and position on SpikeTV, I think that they have a chance to begin to make it big.

They certainly offer a completely different experience than the ol' WWE, and it's definitely attracting alot of people.

There's a lot of news going on for Taboo Tuesday.  Austin won't be wrestling, because he had an "accident".  He found out he would lose at Taboo Tuesday and was angry about it.

Torrie Wilson was fired and the WWE brings back Vader and Goldust.

Leon White, aka Vader lives about 40 miles from my home.  I have to say that I'm totally disgusted by his appearance at 10/31/05 RAW - he's super fat, out of shape, blown up before he reached the ring and fell on his face twice in 1 minute.

Austin finally showed what a whiny little bitch he's become and hopefully Vince never hires him back. I'm really sick of them relying on a wife-beater who can only wrestle up to 20% of his original capacity anyway. It's about time he left. The angle he was in was stupid, the match was stupid, and I hope he never comes back.

SCSA made a stand against McMahon - McMahon wants JR gone from the gorilla postion because he's not photogenic.  Why should Austin ruin what's left of his short career by losing to Coach on a minor PPV?

Yes, Austin is a wife-beater, he is a shadow of his former self, and the angle was stupid.  However he can pop the crowd.  Only Flair and HBK can get the pops that Austin does.

Believe me, if Vince McSatan can make money off of SCSA, he'll use him again.  Jesus, if Vince will mend fences with Bret Hart, he'll mend fences with anyone (except maybe Kevin Kelly and Warrior).

I was referring to Austin originally walking out because he refused to do the job to Brock Lesnar. And then later when he refused to job to Scott Hall, thereby killing the re-emergence of the nWo. I agree that jobbing to the Coach would probably not have been best for the company (that's what Vince originally wanted). He should never have been in that situation.

But Austin is a businessman for a major corporation. He should do what he's paid to do. He's high enough to complain to the bosses like a man and expect some sort of acknowledgement for his criticism. The WWF can't get angles over if one of their (former) big stars isn't willing to put the angles over himself.

I have no sympathy left for the primadonnas that currently roost in the WWF main event. Austin's career is over and done with. He hasn't wrestled for 2 years, his knees are shot, he should have given it up long ago. Who I feel sorry for are Christian and Charlie Haas and the Dudleys and Paul London and the rest who have been breaking their backs trying to get over in the WWF but given nothing in return.

Austin had no problems with jobbing to Brock, he just didn't want to do it in a match with no buildup or long-term purpose.  Much like this thing with the Coach, only this was more idiotic since it involved him losing to AN ANNOUNCER.

Vader's life fell apart once he was arrested, and claimed he was trying to catch bullfrogs.  It was really sad seeing him slip on Monday.  Here's the guy I grew up seeing decimate people without consequence, and he couldn't even leave the ring properly.

Don't forget, TNA's got their prime time special on at 9 PM EST tonight.  It's set to be a good show, with some stuff that looks to top the PPV.  They're also getting two more Spike TV specials before the end of the year, with one having what will be billed as the first pro wrestling match of 2006.

Ahem Ralph normally i don't like it when a wrestler's not a team player, but since this has to do with the fact that McManhon doesn't like JR because of the way he looks, I wish Austin could stun McManhon again.  And also what happened to Kevin Kelly?

The Kevin Kelly I speak of is Nailz, not the announcer Kevin Kelly.

If you don't know the story, Nailz was pissed about a payoff from a PPV, Vince tried to play toughman with Nailz, so Nailz actually beat the crap out of McMahon and his bodyguards.  Needless to say, Nailz got fired on the spot.

Actually, McMahon has a rep for treating wrestlers like crap - it started at least with the way that he fired Wayne Coleman (actually a friend of mine from years ago); he went by the name of Superstar Billy Graham (most of the users of this site won't know who he is).  All McMahon cares about is being in control - look at the way he's treated the Dudley's - they can't even make a living on the indy circuit because McMahon has taken their names and gimmicks from them (these were not WWE gimmicks and names - the Dudleys' had been around years before they joined the 'E').

God, I wish Tom Zenk's site was still up - he spewed some rather biased and bitter anti-McMahon stuff for years.

But what sucks about these older wrestlers "making up" with WWE like Bret Hart and Vader is they almost have to out of their image's self-preservation. Otherwise they get "The Rise and Fall of The Ultimate Warrior".

Survivor Series idea: Eugene's team of 80's throwbacks vs. Coach's team of 90's throwbacks.

Has anyone seen the Samoa Joe-Kenta Kobashi match? Everything I've heard said it was one of the best American wrestling matches ever.

I plan to get the DVD in a month or so.  I've yet to hear anything bad about it.  The great thing with the Warrior DVD is that Warrior ends up the face in it, since the detracting statements in it are so hypocritical, it's impossible not to like him.  Vince saying that he honors the responsibility to present what he's advertised is a hoot, especially with Hulk friggin' Hogan restating it when Hogan balked at an overseas tour he was advertised for, and subsequently pulled from at the last minute.

Mystery_Meat: It would be like when Doink and 3 midgets clowns vs. the King and 3 midget kings.

This years Taboo Tuesday wasn't as good as last years.  I mean some of the votes were predictable.  Who is going to vote for a verbal debate in the Batista and Coach match and expect it to win.  The same can be said for the steel chair match.  Shawn Michaels getting voted yet again for this year was a little predictable and I wish it was Kane or Big Show as a shock.

I'm finally glad that WWE is doing RAW vs. Smackdown, I jsut hope it won't be an invasion way like when they did WWE vs. the Alliance.

5 RAW superstars vs. 5 Smackdown superstars.  Here's my dream match

RAW: Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Kurt Angle, Edge, Big Show

Smackdown: Matt Hardy, JBL, Batista, Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit

Tonight's Raw and Smackdown double tapings in Minneapolis will be Eddy tribute shows. This is really going to mess up what WWE is going to do in the short-term, because tonight's Smackdown main event was to be Batista vs. Eddy vs. Randy Orton, a match necessitated by a back injury Batista suffered last week. Either Orton or Eddy likely would have been given the title.

A tremendous tragedy. He had a horrible drug and alcohol problem, so much so that WWE fired him a couple of years ago and brought him back only when he was proven clean. So popular that every single attempt to turn him heel failed because people couldn't stop cheering him. A real shame.

Nasty: Too early to tell. He missed his wake-up call this morning, and when Chavo and security broke the door down, he was found on the bathroom floor, toothbrush in his mouth. Preliminary indication is heart failure, but techincally that's how everyone dies.

What caused it is unsure. He had a hell of a battle with drugs and alcohol, and while he was apparently sober the last four years, that sort of lifestyle takes a toll on your heart. There's a chance he fell back into the habits, but nobody will know until the autopsy comes out. He could also just have had a bad heart anyway (which the drug/alcohol abuse would have obviously made worse).

Wayne Coleman (Superstar Billy Graham) was quoted as stating he beleives that Eddie had a brain injury from a stiff headshot that he took in a recent match.

I would have to disagree with Coleman; that's not how brain injuries usually work - it was probably some sort of heart arrythmia that killed Eddie.

We won't know until the autopsy is published.

Eddie Guerrero passes away
Nov. 13, 2005

WWE is deeply saddened by the news that Eddie Guerrero has passed away. He was found dead Sunday morning in his hotel room in Minneapolis. Eddie is survived by his wife Vickie and daughters Shaul, 14, Sherilyn, 9, and Kaylie Marie, 3.

The cause of death is unknown at this time. An autopsy will be performed in Minneapolis on Monday, and Eddie's body will then be flown to Phoenix. Funeral arrangements are set for Wednesday in Scottsdale, Arizona.

I'm going to miss Eddie Guerrero.  I was looking forward to his match at survivor series.  There was a strong chance that he and HBK would've faced each other in that match. I heard he was supposed to win the world title this smackdown in a triple threat match Batista vs. Orton vs. Guerrero.  He was going to win it due to Batista having to have back surgery.
