I've been watching Titus (the Fox show) and I have noticed that Dave's hair looks awfully like Fry's. This picture isn't at a good angle and all, but it's pretty close. His hair is spikier in the front on the show.

I remember two things...
he blow-dries his hair with the PE ship's propulsion system, and he got his hair ripped off once and replaced by this robot with all these wigs on it that said "here's your new hair, sir".
Don't remember the episode where that happened though.

My hair kinda does that in the morning. It's just on a larger scale for the sake of cartoons, like how they have huge eyes and 4 fingers on their hands.

We've seen Marge with her hair down like in "The Way we Was" and in "SimpsoncalafragilistixpialaD'OH!cious" when she was in the shower.   flirt

pretty much all the human charactors have weird hair, have you looked at leela's ponytail lately?
It sticks out like a foot behind her head and dosn't touch her body at any point. Most ponytails lie pretty much flat against their owners back.

And the episode where she was a cop, and in the Adam and Eve segment of Simpsons Bible Stories, and most of Natural Born Kissers . . .

Of all the main characters, Hermes' dreds are the closest to "normal" hair. Amy's got that--I dunno, "fan-dance" thing going on, Mom's got the "big-butt-beehive" on her noggin...not really hair, but Zoiby's "mustache" acts as a...well, a mustache. I don't even want to think about that thing Leela turned her hair into in A Bicyclops Built For Two...
