Whats up with Frys hair, what is that kind of hairdue?

And how does he do that?

I think he means the style not the colour...as to how he does it, perhaps he got the idea from "There's something about Mary"

Lots of cartoon characters have hair that would look ridiculous in real life. Like, say, the young topless lady to my left...

I never really noticed it was ginger. Its orange really, not ginger I suppose. But it's a bit difficult to get it in real life with the Something About Mary strength gel, I agree. Is that the same way Guile does his hair? And Bart and Lisa's "hair" are just extensions of their heads.

Fry's hair wouldn't look that odd in the real world. I thought that at first until I saw a kid with the hair do. It looked natural because he barely used any gel. It was really cute

It's an overdone 'Caesar' hair cut. Whearas normally the hair points out beyond the forehead, he decides to comb it up. BTW, I think it was cool seeing Fry in his flashback high-school days with the Archie cut. It was when he went to the carnival.

End of that discussion. But on a related note, I've been hearing "Jimmy Neutron"'s hair-do referred to as a "cone". I think if his head wasn't so big it would look kinda similar to Fry's (giant cow-lick).

Lastly, on a completely unrelated note, anyone come across the (new?) jingle for Sobe-"Drain the lizard"? Sound familiar?    Purely coincedental, but funny. I wanted to bring it up anyway to mock this embarrassingly idiotic phrase ::mock:: ::mock:: ::mock::

Hmm who said there is some thing wrong with red hair I personally like ladies with lucious red hair. At any rate if I could make my hair stick up like that i would as is my hair is so thick it brakes even the stongest gel and returns to a big pile of mess.

There is definately nothing wrong with red hair on girls, it's nearly as sexxy as purple   

On topic, Fry's hair looks cool, I'm not sure it would if he wasn't animated though.

I tried to be Fry for Halloween but it was the worst hair interpertation ever. I used like a whole bottle of moose, but it didn't work. Oh well, it's just one of those things that's impossible to pinpoint accuracy in reality.

I think his hair looks cool, but probably only looks good on him. Also it is supposedly red hair (Luck of the Fryish, Doctor at birth) , how the hell is that red? Surely it counts as orange?

Most people I know with red hair could easily say it is orange but it is genrally accepted to be red or ginger.

Red seems much more easier to picture. Cuz when I think orange, I mean bright orange, like the fruit. So orange hair in cartoons is supposed to be assumed to be 'red' in real life.
