Who do you guys think Leela hates most? Here are the canidates I chose and why

Fry: There had to SOMETHING about Fry Leela hated if she divorced him. Plus, in "Futurestock", she, Bender and Amy absolutlt hated Fry and didn't ever want to work with him again.

Bender: In "Godfellas", Leela said she missed Bender less than half as much as Fry did. Plus, I bet his constant stealing of her purse didn't make Leela like Bender more

Amy: In AOI2, Leela said that Amy and Fry and Zoidberg tainted her beautiful dream. Amy and Leela fight so many times, it's sometimes hard to believe that they than stand each other enough to work together.

Cubert: Leela wanted to smack Cubert in ACOMO, yet in TROAE she seemed to really like him.

Zapp: Perhaps the person Leela dispises most, for obvious reasons. Yet, guys like Alkazar, the sexist filthy chatroom nerds and Adalai make Zapp seem like an extremely nice guy.

Nixon: Prob'ly the #1 enemy of Fry, Leela and Bender as Nixon was the first enemy Fry made in the future, and the events of AHITP only made our heroes hate Nixon even more.

Santa: One of the few people (or robot, or not-human entities) that wanted to kill Leela becasue what she does (mildy naughty stuff), not what she is (a human from Earth), Santa is someone that Leela wanted to sit on the lap of "and hard".

Alkazar: Prob'ly even more of a jerl than Zapp. While Alkazar never made sexist comments and seemed like a nice guy at first, at least Zapp actually wanted to make love to Leela (instead of just making her cook and clean)

The Robot Devil: Leela prob'ly didn't even think about the possibility of there being a Robot Devil prior to HIOR, but I'm sure she lives in fear and hatred of him ever since she barely escaped from him.

Zapp, of course, but why isn't Sean on the poll?

Leela: "Ugh! If a guy ever did that to me, I'd know it. Wait a second. They've all been doing that to me. Even Shawn!" *runs away crying*

Sean can't be on the poll cause even though he cheated on her she still seems kinda fond of him whenever she talks about him. I wish he had actually shown up in the series. Interesting triangle considering how much like Fry his discription is.

In the final episode Leela goes into how Sean cheated on her and she seemed pissed about it.  I'm not saying she hates Sean more than Zapp.  I'm just asking why Sean's name is not on the poll.

I reckon it would have to be the Zapper as he frequently turns up in her life so for her, it would be alot easier to hate him much more than any other chump she has come across.

But that doesn't take into account for whether she will bump into any of her ex's as I would think she would be especially pissed if she crossed paths with Alkazar again.

Leela didn't like Cubert in TROAE, she crushed his gameboy-thingy in one hand, he sent her on a fake delivery and told him to get lost when they were making beer.

Definatly Zapp, with Sean in a far behind second.

I think this will be the first poll where 100% of voters will vote on just one person.  Now if anybody votes for someone else because of what I said, I don't care.

Leela divorced Fry because she couldn't remember why she had agreed to marry him, and she assumed that he had tricked her.  Just because Leela doesn't want to date Fry, that doesn't mean that she dislikes him.  Fry is probably Leela's best friend.

They didn't hate Fry in "Futurestock"; they were just mad that he had cost them millions of dollars.

Leela and Amy don't get along very well, but they do seem to be able to tolerate each other.

Cubert: Leela wanted to smack Cubert in ACOMO, yet in TROAE she seemed to really like him.

Cubert is an annoying little 12-year-old know-it-all; of course he's going to get on Leela's nerves from time to time.  She doesn't really dislike him, though.  Leela likes kids.

Zapp: Perhaps the person Leela dispises most, for obvious reasons. Yet, guys like Alkazar, the sexist filthy chatroom nerds and Adalai make Zapp seem like an extremely nice guy.

Zapp is a definite contender for the person Leela hates the most, mainly because he shows up so often and always reminds her of the fact that they slept together.  There are bigger jerks than him, though.

Quote
Nixon: Prob'ly the #1 enemy of Fry, Leela and Bender as Nixon was the first enemy Fry made in the future, and the events of AHITP only made our heroes hate Nixon even more.

Leela doesn't like Nixon, that's for sure; but her dislike for him isn't really on a personal level.

Santa: One of the few people (or robot, or not-human entities) that wanted to kill Leela becasue what she does (mildy naughty stuff), not what she is (a human from Earth), Santa is someone that Leela wanted to sit on the lap of "and hard".

I don't think that Leela really hates Santa.  It's more like she felt a need to put a stop to a dangerous robot who terrorizes the earth once a year.  Like and dislike don't really enter into it.

Quote
Alkazar: Prob'ly even more of a jerl than Zapp. While Alkazar never made sexist comments and seemed like a nice guy at first, at least Zapp actually wanted to make love to Leela (instead of just making her cook and clean)

Probably?  Probably?!?  There's no question about it; Alkazar was far more of a jerk than Zapp ever could be.  Alkazar used Leela's desire to find her homeworld to manipulate her into practically becoming his slave.  Zapp may be sleazy and disgusting, but at least he's honest about it.

On the other hand, Leela probably never had to see Alkazar again after "A Biclops Built for Two".  Zapp is a constant source of annoyance.

The Robot Devil: Leela prob'ly didn't even think about the possibility of there being a Robot Devil prior to HIOR, but I'm sure she lives in fear and hatred of him ever since she barely escaped from him.

After escaping from Robot Hell, I doubt that Leela really gave Beelzebot much thought at all, until he showed up again, in "The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings".  She certainly doesn't live in fear of a robot who screams like a little girl when he gets hit over the head.

Well, after 2 days of voting there seem to be a clear indication as how this poll will turn out. Based on current results Zapp should win with an estimated 100% of the votes. And I'm helping him!

David A already did a good job of countering most of your candidates, but for "Futurestock" keep in mind Fry first help install That Guy as CEO against their wish, he then assured them their jobs and the company were in good hands only to be proven wrong the very next second. No wonder they looked angry in Fry's office, wouldn't you be?

Don't forget that Fry managed to make the shares worthless in the end, making the rest of the crew lose their once-in-a-lifetime chance of becoming millionares (sp?) (not counting Amy)

I always thought she hated herself most of all.

To have lived half her life figuring what made her 'alien' parents abandon her, then to find out she's just a lowly mutant. It's like expecting the worst, but getting an un-imaginable notch lower.

That has got to give anyone some sort of 'mental illness'.

She doesn't seem to mind that she's a mutant. She adores her parents to no end and ever since she was reunited with them she seems to have mellowed out a little bit.

I do agree with you that she probably thinks very little of herself but i think that has more to do with her being alone and rejected all her life. She confessed to Fry that she was miserable before she was ever reunited with her family.

Although you can't really base Leela's feelings towards Bender based on something she said in the seventh episode. She still had plenty of time to grow a hatred for Bender.
Nonetheless, I will add to the obvious choice.. Zapp.

In "Roswell That Ends Well" she seemed very happy to find Bender's head.

In "Godfellas" she says to Fry, "I miss Bender almost half as much as you do."  Considering how much Fry missed Bender, even half as much is quite a bit.

Um, Alkazar wanted to make love to her AND make her cook and clean.  I agree that he was a bigger jerk to Leela than Zapp was, but, as David A pointed out, the fact that Zapp constantly shows up in Leela's life makes him the obvious choice to me (and to a lot of other people, apparently).

ALKAZAR!!!  VOTE FOR ALKAZAR!!!!!!!  He's a bigger sleazebag than the Zapper ever was!!!!!!  I mean, think about it:

Alkazar= tricked Leela into thinking they had to reproduce for their species when in reality they weren't even the same species.  He just wanted mindless sex by taking advantage of her loyalty.  Also, she had to cook and clean for him, as VoVat and David A said.  Plus he made four other women do the same.  If he ain't a sleazebag, I don't know who is.
Zapp= took advantage of Leela by forcing her to sleep with him (possibly when her judgement was impaired), and constantly tries to get her to go on a date with him.  There's much worse.  Also, Leela seems to tolerate him somewhat.

And about Alkazar, the most logical reason as to why he never showed up later was probably because he was too embarrassed about his actual identity getting revealed.

Or because he's in prison.

Face it, what he did to Leela and those other women might not have exactly been rape, but it wasn't far from it.  I'm sure that they could have charged him with something.

Sure Amy and Leela might have a slight enmity going in the earlier seasons, but they get along quite well by season 3 and 4

And I think her burning loathe for Zapp tops out a little friendly competition.

Ofcourse if Amy had tricked her way into Leela's pants by exploiting her compassion things might've been different. .... Excuse me while I ponder that highly interesting scenario...

Zapp may act like an over-stuffed jerk who is full of himself(for good reason tho!) But Leela meant something to him otherwise he wouldn't persue her at every chance. Leela could do a whole lot worse. Zapp is admired and respected by most in the universe! Im sure Zapp would treat her as a princess. Please think before voting.

Yeah, but that's a princess to Zapp!  Maybe after she does that, he'll treat her right.  The only reason he's constantly showing up at Leela's door (or on her videophone) is because deep down, he knows she doesn't like him and just wants more attention from her.  Maybe after Leela consents to serving Zapp sexually without having any cham-pag-in in her system, he'll stop... er... mistreating her.  Remember, the Zapper has a different mind from you and me.
