Just signed up!

Just wanted to say hello and just comment on what a great resource this site is for a futurama fan.

i always enjoyed the program, but it's only over the last 3/4 months that i've really started watching it and really started understanding the subtltey of the gags etc.

Very much enjoy it now and recently splashed out on all 4 DVD box sets to feed my hunger! lol!

just a bit about me:

My fave character:

Couldn't pick. I love Zapp, Bender and Zoidberg.

Zapp is just such an idiot, but he's so funny. Bender absolutely kills me with some of his quips, and i just love Zoidbergs "whoopwhoopwhoopwhoop!". lmao!

Fave Season:

Probably have to say season 2 at the moment. More of my fave episodes are in season 2. Although, i do love 'Anthology of Interest II' and 'The Day the Earth Stood Stupid' from S3. (Hypno-toad absolutely rules! And Zoidy's 'Hard-Shelled Whooping Terrier'! oh killer!).

Fave Episode: 'Brannigan Begin Again' from Season 2.

I just love Zapp's character. He's so stupid. And Kif partners him so well.

High points include:

the 'rock/paper/scissors' cunundrum.

Zapp defending himself in court...

"How do you plead?"

"Absolutely, 99%, not guilty!"

The multiplied gravity with benders body contracting, Zapp's girdle breaking (asking about where leela get's her bra's... "i only ask for i have a friend who..." lol!) and kif's head smackin off the floor.

(also the bullet-like rain!)

The mutiny involving the 'brigg', then the laundry room becoming the 'brigg', then later becoming the 'laundry-brigg'. lmao! i'm laughing just thinking about it.

The neutral leader telling his helper: "tell my wife i said... 'hello!'". and also...

"do we believe him sir?"

"i don't know but my gut tells me... maybe!".

The part where they mutiny against Zapp and he throws kif into the childs space suit. lmao!

Then leela telling bender and fry to hurry with the dark matter as she doesn't want to die at 25 and bender replies...

"unless we hit some kinda time machine, i wouldn't worry about that" lmao! just class!

And also bender turning himself into the jack to raise the hover-dolly to tip the dark matter into the engine.

Great episode! Just funny through out!

Anyway, that'll do for now.

Have a good time here Bender Zapp, it's nice to see a new user give some information about himself rather than making the rest of us piece it together, mostly from sugar packets.
