yea your right, but I'm going off memory, the US doesn't have Vol. 4. But I remember him searching and saying "ehh, no" about the heart in his hand (I hate those things    :puke: ) But I thought it was a great eppisode, to anyone who says it wasn't.

I just watched AFTR last night on Cartoon Network.  When they were about to kiss and the ship moved just as, I threw a monkey fit! I screeched like a monkey, I threw things rapidly, and I stormed off into my room until it came back on from commercial.

I think 'The Sting' was the best, with Leela and Fry... that was true emotion at the end.    :)

Leela- Youi could use a shower

Fry- You too.

HAHA, and a brilliant way to end the eppisode with a little comedy.

Yes, DrJohnZ. When such a emotional and powerful episode like the Sting ends with a cute little quirk like that, it reminds you that after all, it is still a comedy.

But I think it's really funny that Leela goes insane because she killed Fry. Murder & insanity = Happpy me!

I'll find fry's body and keep it under my mattress to remind me that he's really dead. That'll prove i'm not insane!

HAHA yea, and as soon as Bender and Amy started with the "In every life we have some trouble... But when you worry you make it double" I was like 'AHH don't worry, be happy!" made me laugh... untill everyone blew up. lol well that made me laugh too.

I think The Sting displays just how much Leela actually cares for Fry.

Haha! Funny stuff as Bender says. In the scene where the PE crew are all over her walls,

Everyone cept Bender-You killed Fry!! *chanting*

Eventually after Leela rips them off the walls,
Bender in a naging voice- YOu killed Fry.
That was funny. & when Prof said,

Farnsworth-Oh, I made myself sad.

Also, lets not forget "A Flight To Remember" they were millimeters from kissing off emotion, but then the stupid black hole had to mess it up. It was weird that nothing happened after that, I thought after my first time viewing it, that they might start something since they got that close... I guess they just forgot or something

'Hey Our Nebula, whenever I see it, I'll think back to the time we almost....[nebula gets sucked into black hole]...never mind'

I know what you mean, so many moments. It's like an animated movie, you never see them kiss until the end.

I found it so touching that in her coma, she was willing to kill herself to spend the rest of her life with Fry in a never-ending dream.

*sobs* Thats why i love that episode so much!!

"The Sting", of course, is the episode as far as shipiness and Fry and Leela's relationship goes. But, I think that "Time Keeps on Slipping" is also well-done. It is a very shippy episode when you think about it. And Fry would have been happy with the outcome if Leela hadn't blown up his message in the sky.

Yea speaking of 'Time Keeps on Slipping' I found a picture in TLZ, drawn by FemJesse that shows Leela if she saw the message... I don't know why she would be sitting, but its a great picture.

Same here, I love FemJesse's art, but I can't draw that well myself so I only admire the work, not create it.

It's a strange picture that, in terms of her pose and the surroundings of the room she's in. But it's very good though, it's interesting. And of course, Leela did see the message at one point - she just has no memory of it.  :hmpf:

back to those almost certain moments, what do you think would've happen between Fry and Leela after the Opera? She was the only who stayed to see the ending... Do you think Fry finaly won her over?

Have a friendly welcome!   :)

Yeah PEEL is a great place to be, but I should warn you though, please read the inoffical Peel-FAQ before you start new threads. The Mods are strict here (but they have to, and do a great job! / Gladly I hadn't to learn it myself when I registered last week , but several other had!).

So enjoy your membership at PEEL.   ;)
