How about this one? It's basically the same lower eye-lid, but the uper one have a frown-quality as well.

One eye, of course! That's Leela's trademark! She just wouldn't be our Leela without the one eye...or one eye added...to the one eye...

Ah! thats a great pic Teral. I always loved that expression on Leela. Someone should make a fanart of her with that expression.

I like her with two eyes.  But just as the doc says "Your Leela is one average lady", it makes her look ordinary. So I go with officer 1BDI.

I forget, when does Leela slap the professor? I know she does it, but I can't remember which episode.

It's a coloquialism.

It kinda means good for you, or some other variant on that theme...

Leela looks much better with one eye. She just looks weird with two.  :)

Well i have to go with 1 eye, mainly because she look's odd with two, i duno if it's just seeing her with one eye for soo long that we are all used to her trademark "one eye", i know that im basicly repeating what everyone has said in the last 2 pages, but i thought i should put my own view onto the subject.   ;)

In the commentaries of Cyber House Rules, I think they mentioned that the animators had a hard time drawing Leela with two eyes because her head shape was different when they originally drew her, than all the people with two eyes, so it was hard to fit both eyes in, and that's why she looks weird with two eyes.

So...one eye.

She looks so much better with one eye, it's her character and she's not as interesting without it

I also think one looks better, but I think the simply used the wrong type of eyes. It's the same type they use on Amy and Helen Lovejoy from the Simpsons and that simply doesn't fit.

One eye beats two by about 2 percent.

how come all the more realistic fan-art shows here with a small eye?

Groeningian animation tends to include larger than normal eyes.  Therefore, realistification of such characters would cause the eye to be smaller than it appears on the TV series.

yeah, but her single eye is still bigger than a normal eye, which isn't shown in most fan art, (which I'll abbreviate to f-art)
