Which do you think is more accurate?
Did Sal clone himself and they got diffrent jobs, did he create a lot of robots and put sintetic skim on them and they got jobs,or does Sal have THOUSANDSof jobs?

I pick clones

I think Sal is really a super hero, mild mannered blue collar worker one day, exciting extreme blue collar worker the next day!

I should think he's constantly being fired and hired, moving from job to job as is convenient.

Do you know how fast those blue collar guys move between jobs? They find a job, hate it right away, quit, find another one, etc. The dumber ones do anyway. Maybe Sal's one of the dumber ones.

I agree with ShadowStar, he is just like Pimply Faced Teen in The Simpsons.  He has many, many jobs.

I think Sal just has a lot of jobs, but one has to wonder how this is possible with the career chip system.

I think perhaps there is some sort of chip that just labels you as a guy to do odd-jobs. I don't think he's ever seen with a very good job, so this makes sense. Scruffy might even fit this description as well.

I dunno, some of the Sals seem diferent in personality. While a few of them have actualy been quite nice guys the one in Parasites Lost pulled a knife on Fry.

I always figured it was the same guy doing different jobs, but the clone idea is interesting.

Well I got the idea from the DVD commentary where David X. says, after Sals first appearence:
"So,ehtier Sal has many jobs or he has thousands of jobs."

if they are clones, how did the Sal working on the building site know about what the trucker Sal said to Leela on the space truck stop?

Well, maybe that clone or robot was bringing cement back to the constroction site (where he gets hurt by Fry) and had to get gas at that gas station.

Sal has way too many jobs. Way too many. Ironically, every time we see him he's on another shift at some place. I think it's the ironic but practical solution.

When is the sarcastic middle-aged guy from The Simpsons called Gus?  I seem to recall Sideshow Bob calling him Raphael in "Day of the Jackanapes."

So if the Simpsons ever visit the high school, then all the students would look just like him. That would be hilarious.
