I got a question, which fan art is better, the one of Amy or Leela?  Silvertide did them.

Leela, by a landslide.

Many arguments in her favor have already been made, but there's something that's been forgotten: in any dangerous situation, Near Leela is almost always the safest place you can possibly be, assuming she's on your side. If it weren't for her, most of the Planet Express crew would have died long before the second season.

And hey, you gotta love a friend who will help you rob a grave on request.

As further evidence, I show what has to be Leela in one of her most attractive situations ever.

for all you crazy Amy fans, I found this one... I still think Leela is better though

made by "Paul" from his amazing web site FSAC
so that Amy picture can now compete with this Leela picture, made by "The Voices"

He's the one who started this thread.

As for that picture JohnZ posted, look at it. Whoever did it made Amy's head way too small in comparison to the body. It seems like every time someone does Amy scan art, it comes out a little deformed, but whenever someone does a Leela scan art, it comes out just perfect.

If you ask me, Amy's best moment was when she was wearing that shirt with the heart shaped hole in Time Keeps On Slipping. Man, that was hot.

Wow, did Leela make a huge comeback recently? Last time I checked I had broken the tie with a vote for Amy....

Anyway, nice pics DrJohnZ  :D

Leela, of course ... I mean, Amy's hot and all, but she's more of just the booty call type.  Leela is someone that I could actually have a meaningful relationship with.  'Sides, she's gorgeous (especially in formal wear).

I seem to remember a really awesome Amy scan by Subnet Mask, but I can't find it anywhere... Unless I dreamt it or something.

Okay, I've been absent long enough from this thread. Gave Ozor the chance to seize the agenda. And since Doug's pictures are the best to fight this fight:

I wouldn't mind covering her six.  ;)

But it's not just about the state of undress, the actions of person speaks louder. I've erlier posted what I think is the best fanart ever, but this is right up there too (though this one is more for personal reasons):

I'd not seen either of those before now Teral, nice! You know what it means though...

And to continue the "not totally naked" theme...

That one was my desktop background for a while. Really nice.

Rant - Why does FSAC have that annoying right click code? I have to right click to bring up the copyright message, and then click both mouse buttons at the same time on the OK button in order to get the right click menu so I can view the URL for the picture.

Yeah Paul seems to have that problem a lot.  His Amy as a catgirl pictures, his Amy as a mermaid picture, they all have the same problem.  It's a shame, because his artwork is very good otherwise.

Teral and Ozor, you two should both be ashamed of yourselves.  Doug's art isn't meant to be used as ammunition in this sort of argument.  He can clearly make either one of them look good when he wants to, so you're not going to settle this by posting his artwork.

Why do we need to argue anyway?  Amy, Leela, they're both good choices.
Amy is better, though.

Before I started posting at PEEL, I hardly even noticed Amy was a character in the show. She has no personality, no screentime, no possible room for development, nothing. Just eye candy. That's it. At least Leela's got character. And the one eye is surprisingly cool.

I also think she's the better drawn character.

The one eye thing always weirded me out a little. I would always start getting used to it, and someone new to the show would point it out, and I can't stop noticing it.

Does anyone besides me think this thread is too risque?

That is the one flaw I see in Amy. She looks kind of...odd sometimes, usually in her head.

Maybe if Amy grew her hair out a little wait she's not real the artists made a drawing of Amy with longer hair, she'd be easier to have her look more atractive, like the Leela pic. by 'The Voices'

Amy's hair isn't short really though, it's just a kind of logical impossibility.

Let's see

Leela:
-An actual personality (and a damn interesting one)
-Killer body
-Could kick the ass of anyone on this board and nearly anyone on the show, male or female
-Incredible singing voice
-Smartest character on the show that's not a 160-year-old nerd or a clone of a 160-year-old nerd
-Horrible taste in men
-Inferiority Complex
-Passive Aggressive

Amy:
-Rich
-Other qualities

EDIT: Sweet Zombie Jesus, a Crustacean already?  Hooray!

Not all men are only after the T&A.  Otherwise this thread wouldn't even exist.  I mean, come on.  Look at them.  No contest.

I like Leela because she's hotter and she's more interesting.  And since she's in two dimensions, looks can't be everything.

Interesting... if you combine the names of 'Leela' and 'Amy', you get 'Lamy', pronouced 'lay-me.' Coincidence? I think NOT!

I need to get back to work...

RIP-OFF!

They didn't make it close enough to Leia's Bikini to make it obvious that it's homage to it, but made it close enough for someone to deduce it with some reasoning.

So what you're saying in so many words is that you know what I would want better then I would?

Eh, I think it's got more then a few concepts from Barberella's costume, myself. I can see the similarites to the Leia costume, but I don't think it's a direct homage.
