Fry all the way. I like him because of his cool and lazy attitude, as Bender is too much of a drinker/smoker in my opinion. Fry also kind resembles me.

I probably like her because I like to psychoanalyze my TV characters and she's a real challenge to figure out sometimes.  She also has the great one-liners because you never see them coming.
"Have my years of wild hedonism finally caught up with me?"
Another thing, every comedy needs a straight man (or woman) to give it coherence.  Without Leela, Futurama would just be Family Guy in the future.  And that would be worse than it never existing in the first place, since I can't stand ripoffs.
Finally, The Sting was the only thing on TV to make me cry.  EVER.  And that includes Bambi.

Agreed, every show needs a more serious character to keep all the funny ones in check. Anyway my favorite character is probably Fry.
