I agree with Otis that is one cool design, as was the wheeled bot.

That Amy is also really cool, though I cant think of who it reminds me of...

The Dave Cooper design is cool but yes I would agree that it doesn't seem to be enough like the Bender we all know and love.

The Dave Cooper design is really good, but besides the fact it wouldn't have suited Bander's personality, it looks far more complex to draw (and consequently animate) than the Bender they finished up with.

[EDIT]Wait a minute, Bender's name isn't Bander, it's Bender![/EDIT]

Fry had many early designs and possibly backstories. One of the earlier ones made him nightwatch at Applied Cryogenics, another had him starting out as a soldier in the US army.

As for other characters, I'll check my DVD's.
