First, how is Leela's first name spelled?
Second, why is Amy working with the Planet Express crew, anyway? I thought she was rich enough that she didn't have to work?
thanks!

1. I've heard that the official spelling is Turanga.
2. She's an intern... she's working there to get extra college credit. Plus, she has the same blood type as Farnsworth....

First: Turanga
Second- She needs the job exp., since she studied at Mars U. And her parents payed for her to be hired I believe. (Probably to make her feel like shes accomplishing something)

Damn! Kryten beat me to it.
I got the spelling from Leela Zone

I thought it was Toronga, too.  I know, I'll just try using closed captioning next time I watch The Problem With Popplers.  You can find out lots of stuff by doing that.

One would assume that that would solve it, but I wouldn't count on it being the definitive spelling. I once watched a show where they mentioned Laredo, Texas with the closed captioning on (didn't want to wake my parents), and the CC read "lore aide oh Texas"! I'm not sure exactly how it works, but it seems to be quite prone to human error.
by the way, thanks for the answers!
