I've only got Elzar and Hermes because you don't see them as often as you see Bender.

I personly like Hermes,

" The pressure will squash you like a green snake under a sugercane truck!"

I vote Elzar, Hermes isn't that funny to me.

Bender: Oh, Elazar, you'll never guess what's happened!
Elzar: Bam?

Elzar: What are you, an ass-kissin' machine?
Bender: Yes, sir! Good one sir!

Hermes for sure!

"...I'd like to put the little bastard in a sack, throw the sack in a river, and hurl the river into space!..."- Hermes on Nibler, I feel the same way.

Elzar scares me. BAM!

Gotta go with Hermes. I've never found Elzar very entertaining, though there have been a number of particularly good one-liners.

I have always like Hermes for his subtle and funny drug references:

"I'll have a 'Shirley Hemple'"
"That's not a cigar! ... and its uhh not mine."

Although he most made me laugh in TFP when he had his finger on the button to jettison the PE crews A and B into the sun.

You need to hotlink them from outside sources, there are websites who specialise in smileys.

As for the question of this thread, I'm siding with Elzar. He usually have some great lines, and is a spiffy imitation of Emeril Legasse.

Elzar: "I owe you nothing! For starter's your antenna's in my crotch. Also I hate you. Finally, you can't cook for squat."
Bender: "What was the first one again?"
Elzar: "I hate you."
Bender: "I thought that was number 2?"
Elzar: "I knocked it up a notch. Bam!"

Bender: Hey, who are they?
Elzar: Let's just say they're very good customers and I'm not answering anymore questions.
Bender: Are they the robot mafia?
Elzar: Yes.

I'm voting for chef, restauranteur, author of Cooking Slugs For Dinner and Cooking Dinner For Slugs... Elzar!  But they're both terrific.

I'm going with Hermes, because he could be funny in numerour ways.  Most of Elzar's humour was based around his "..knock it up a notch.  Bam!" catchphrase, and had the show lasted a few years longer, it probably would've gone the way of Bart's crank calls.

Hermes in a landslide. "Sweet (blank) of (rhymes with blank)." is enough to win this for the bureaucrat, since Elzar's not funny.

Though, the Spice Weasel is pretty humorous. They should sell Spice Weasels.

Hermes, only because we have seen him more and he's had a whole episode dedicated to himself.

Elzar is only funny when he's talking to someone else. Namely, Bender.
Hermes is funny when he's singing, dancing and mumbling to himself. Go bureaucrats!

I can't decide.  "Man, you sure can put it away.  You saved me a trip to the dump.  BAM!"  "This fish is slightly too rotten to even make gumbo."  So many good quotes from both...

That is true but Elzar is funny in any episode he is in! Hermes features in more episodes but his jokes are mainly shots at Zoidberg!
Elzar gets my vote!
Athough having said that
" Rage Dump!"
Definately one of the funniest lines ever!

Sorry. I meant cos Phil LaMarr, who did Hermes' voice, was also Marvin in Pulp Fiction. As in, "Man, I shot Marvin in the face..."

I like Elzar more, because I find his character design extremely amusing, I love his voice, and I've always wanted to be a chef. But Hermes is definatley funnier, hehe. And so cute. Love the voice.

Hermes Song in How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back was really funny. What is the name of that song that has the same rhythm and sounds exactly like that song.
