Ever notice mini catchphrases?
For example, the Professer has said:
"... but I am already in my pyjamas" twice.
and Fry has said:
"Swish!" coupled with a basketball toss motion twice.

can anybody else think of anything like this...? hmmm.

Well, there's the Prof's "Off you go"... and the obvious ones, like "Bite my (blank) metal ass" and "Sweet (some animal) of (somewhere)" and "G'uh/B'uh/Fl'uh"...

I think "Good news everyone" is a normal catchphrase. It's hella-funny.

Yes this was originally about catchphrases that never took off. The pygamas one is an example. I guess they realized it wasn't very funny the second time.

I guess Zoidberg's horrible warbling noise is a catchphrase, of sorts.

"My God!"  -Fry, in numerous eps.
"Dear God"  -Farnsworth
"Oh your god!"  -Bender
"Oh my various gods!"  -Leela's old boss

ok, they're not really catch phrases but I can live without catch phrases.

Actually the first time was in Mars University.
The Teacher said: The Only way to get an A in this class would be to have lived through the 20th Century. Fry then does his Swish thing, and the teach gives him an electic shock

What SHOULD be made regular catch-phrases are "Oh...YOUR...God!" Or Zoidy's "Yippie-Ki-Yay!" Hahahahahaaah. Ahem.

noticed that hermes has a catch phrase that he uses through entire episodes

eg. "like a green snake up a sugar cane"
was used as a metaphor for everything!
