He is everyone's favorite flamboyant homosexual on Futurama. See SamuelXDiamond's avatar for details.

Randy first appeared in "I, Roomate" and has been in cameos ever since. Here are some appearances:
I, Roomate (1ACV03)

[the one in the purple Jacket)

He also appears in 4ACV08, Crimes Of The Hot and 4ACV09, Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles on the road in the beginning.
(sort of- His hair changed.)
"There are Parts of the Bible I like and parts I don't like!"
Randy also appeared in season 2's "Why must I be a Crustacean In Love?"

Once again, Randy's hair changed.
"Is there a Doctor in the Gym?"
He's also in Less than Hero.
Er... He appears alot more, but I ran out of pics for this post.
Randy, in summary, is the gay sounding guy played by John DiMaggio, the voice of Bender.

Where did you discover his name was randy?  I just assumed he was "annonymous gay guy #1"

I think it's mentioned in the Season 1 commentaries. Or somewhere in the show.

The only place I've heard his name is in comentaries. But if you choose english subtitles for the hearing empared the state the name of the person talking, and there it says Randy. (he's allso a driver in season 4, dont remember the ep. He drives by Prof. on the highway yelling at him)

I think you're talking about Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles.

It's similar with URL, his name is never really said aloud outside the commentaries. It appears on the Robot Devil's wheel of robots though.

"Don't take her out, she's a firecracker!"

He's often in the background of episodes too, without any speaking part, such as Insane In The Mainframe and Less Than Hero.

I think the writers like to have John DiMaggio doing a camp or feminine voice whenever possible. Hence Randy, the transvestite robot and the awful Coilette.
