Everybody remembers how Leela rejected fry on Futurama, so here you can put some of those excuses he used to avoid fry.

Like In the Farnsworth Parabox.
everyhting depended on a coin.
Or in Parasites lost, when Fry loses his worms.

What else do you remember?

Not sure if this qualifies as a rejection, but in Spanish Fry, when Leela uses a laser to re-attatch Fry's nose she does a half-a** job, hitting his cheek with the laser. When he winces, she says, "Sorry Fry, I wasn't really concentrating."

Seems if she cared enough, she would've done a better job of rhinoplasty.

Well, in Parasites Lost i think she was very unsure if Fry loved her when he lost the worms, going over the story board of the episode, it has a note under the "wait! recantly?" scean that she should look very torn.
So i think she thought he was just after some lovin'

Time keeps on slipping...rejection apon rejoction there...
but i haven't seen the season4 eps in a long time tho(saving up for the DVD  :D )

"I've got a baggie of massage oil, and I'm going to give you my super backrub, just like I gave Amy when I was going out with her, and she thought it was pretty- uh-oh..."

Yeh, I dunno. That episode was all for the humor, though. Didn't you notice?

Yeah, unlike "The Sting," which was all emotion, except I WAS NOT MOVED! But now I'm off topic.

What the hell is Leela's problem anyway?  Fry stopped her from killing her own parents, and he's still not good enough for her?  What more does she want from him?

David A there are several threads full of theories about why Leela acts the way she does. Try searching under the human resources department for pages and pages of speculation.

I know, Venus.  I've probably read all of those threads.  I may have even posted in a few of them.

It's not that I don't think that Leela has good reason to act the way that she does, it's just that, well, she annoys me sometimes.  She obviously cares for Fry, but she wants him to be something that he's not.  That's one of the reasons that I like Amy better than Leela: Amy liked Fry just fine the way that he was.

Anyway, that's just my opinion.    ;)  Your mileage may vary.

Keep in mind that her ex boyfriend Sean was apparentally not very good looking, had bad posture and was a bit on the stupid side, and Leela like him because he had musical talent. Fry may not have any musical talent, but I sure as hell doubt that Sean would sacrafice himself so many times to save Leela. And Fry definately wouldn't cheat on Leela like Sean did anyway.

I reckon Leela's reactions to Fry's advances make far more sense if you watch the show in production order.  After "Love & Rocket", she gradually becomes more and more receptive to him.
