Because he's cute, he's caring, he's sorta loyal, he does amazing things for the people he cares about, and he wouldn't diliberately hurt someone he cares about. All the things that all my ex's have been lacking.

Watching Fry fail to impress Leela over and over, it is easy to dismiss him as a no chance loser, but seeing his good points through the female perspective reminds me that one of the things I most appreciate about my loved ones is that they try to do nice things for me, not whether they are successful or not. Sure, my kid is a really crappy artist, but the art lessons transform from a waste of money to the best bargain in town when he brings home something he's really proud of and gives it to me. In the final scene of Devil's Hands, Leela appears to finally appreciate Fry for his effort and his inner message even though his stupid fingers make for a mediocre performance.

Switching gears, I've said I'd try to date Leela. At first it would be 90% for the physical attraction, but I'd try to keep dating her for the other 10%. She's opinionated, picky and bossy, but I like a challenge.

Fry and Leela are popular choices, and Amy too and someone may throw a curve about dating Scruffy or Zoidberg or whomever, but here's a question that I've been turning over for a bit. Where would you take your date or what kind of date would it be?
I'd take Leela hiking in some wilderness. She seems to enjoy the great outdoors and might like to see some animals that are extinct in her time (besides rats and cattle). Amy would always be up for clubbing, but I bet she'd go skydiving (anyone who would fly on an ironing board surely would strap a parachute on an do a little freefalling).

I'd have to say Fry. He's soo sweet and cute and funny. He may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but intellegence is not the most important in a guy to me. A guy needs to be sweet, funny, easy to talk to, honest, loyal, and has to have a great personality and he'd be easy to talk to. I would've said Bender but for many of the resons above he just wouldn't cut it.

I'd have to go with Leela.  Most of the other girls seem like morons, aside from Morgan Proctor and Michelle.  Michelle's too untrustworthy, and Morgan is too uptight.  Leela seems fairly smart, which is a plus for me.  She doesn't hide her emotions and isn't completely helpless.
