Just a general question, which of the voice cast does Al Gore's voice?  I only ask because the impression is uncanny, and for a long time I thought it was Al Gore himself.

It's no impression; look in the credits and you'll see it was actual Vice-President (at that time) Al Gore. If you listen to the DVD commentary for "Anthology of Interest I," they talk about the experience of working with him for that episode.

He recorded more dialogue for a later episode, "Crimes of the Hot." One of his daughters even worked on the show -- as a writer, I think.

Didn't she write more for the show?
I've got the impression that she is something like a permenant staff for Futurama.

Kristen gore has been involved in writing all the later eps and perhaps even the early ones, im not sure.

The other person is some weird single name. Like murky or something.

Tut, Tut. Single stage names are so tacky.

Kristen Gore is a regular staff writer on the show, as well as the writer of LH.

I've no idea about the sister though. Which sister was it?

Just to get them all:

(Hawking enter Panuzzi's)
Cohen: "Really is professor Stephen Hawking, whom we recorded up near CalTech, where he lecture sometimes. ... He seems to have a very good sense of humor, by the way, as he's obviously appeared on this show, and The Simpsons. Which show good taste. Also, he knows a little bit about physics, apperently."

(Gore step up to Fry)
Cohen: "Hey Matt, talk a little about our visit to Al Gore's house to record this."
Groening: "uhh, yeah, well we got to go visit vice president Gore. And it was incredible exciting. That was a blast. Lot of security..."
Cohen: "Very surreal, because you're so familiar with seeing him on the news, because, you know, he was running for president. Then you just walk up, and he's there on the porch waving to you and you kinda feel like you know him. Very, very surreal."
Dimaggio: "He actually was on the proch waving to you?"
Cohen: "He actually was when we arrived."
Dimaggio: "That's cool!"
Cohen: "And, yes, that really is Gary Gygax!"
West: "Oh, man."
Dimaggio: "And that is Nichelle Nicholls."
Cohen: "And that is Nichelle Nicholls, who's a friend of the show now, officially. Because she just recently appeared a second time, and an incredible pleasure to deal with."
Keeler: "But we could not get Deep Blue, so we had to..."
Cohen: "True, Deep Blue is Tress MacNeille. Everyone here are playing themsleves."
(Cue Dungeon & Dragons bonanza talk)
