Amy probably liked Leela's boots, but she just had to sneak in that snide remark about the size of Leela's feet. The landing gear shouldn't have come as  big surprise for her.

With some of the bozos I've seen on his show - when I happen to stumble across it, that is - suicide is the wrong word: Try mercy killing. Mercy on the audience, that is...

But to the point of the thread: I prefer Leela over Amy (sorry) Leela to Amy, but Amy is as good a supporting character as one can hope for.
