Dunno. But then, Futurama has so many ST-references, who can say for sure. OTOH there are so many SciFi/Horror/OtherGenre features I haven't seen I can easily miss amy... err... any quote or hommage.

Wonder why I haven't seen one single babylon 5 reference until now. Shmaybe Groening doesn't like it .

cubert, mom, n nibbler! they are so annoying! u know who i like? scruffy, even though he's appeared in a few episodes. he doesn't have much to say, so we can't really judge him as a good or bad character.

Hermes wasnt too brilliant in "groove back", which might should have been tribute to him. Half the episode, fry has sex with the lady, so hermes is standing in the background then... weak...

Amy is a little boring, but shes nessecary to act as a concurrency for the most important female character, Leela. Imagine Leela would be the only woman in the show... boring...

cubert is an arrogant slug. what else to say, hes not going on the nerves too often, so i can live with him in the show. dont forget, he's (got) the wiener of a genius

I dislike sometimes different robot characters, i dont hate robots in general in futurama, but many of them are just not funny.

I dont dislike Mom, while it is a little flat character. no deepness if you understand. what do you expect, futurama is a tv show. And somehow, there also have to be the bad guys, or girls. even if they turn good, and sexy sometimes. Her sons are very stereotype and not too funny, too.

But i know, the most unnessecary people in the show are Zapp Brannigans Troops. These morons shall die, whahaha

I personally find Nibbler annoying.
I know he's only Leela's pet, but I think that they could have given her something way more interesting.
Bender should have eaten him like he wanted to...well, at least after they'd gotten away.

Hermes is the only diverse character on Futurama well other than Amy, and I like him just because.

My dislikes are
Geunter as Guest character

Nibbler and Cubert as main ones because they do nothing for the show and are just annoying, sometimes they can be good but eh'... and sorry but "that is to big of a sig." will be issued soon to Mr. Nixon

The worst character list consists of Gunter, Qbert, Wernstrom, and Bender.  I mean Gunter is just the most annoying monkey in the world, Qbert is basically Gunter mk. II or i guess Gunter could be Qbert mk.II either way they're the same.  Wernstrom is an old version of the previous annoying couple.  Bender, well, i was just kidding about him  .

The worst character is obviously Nibbler.  I hope someone steps on him.  Always getting lost or in trouble and yet he is super intelligent, what the hell.  It was kind of funny though when they kept calling all of them cute.

The Professor already did.  If "The Jack-ass" wasn't comedy gold, I'd vote for him.  Instead, I'll say Clamps.  He was kinda funny at first, but his act just got cold after, say, two times.

I dont know if he is the worst, but Harold Zoid was probably the worst character in terms of hype in relation to suckiness.  I'm hoping that Roberto will set the new record though.  time will tell

I hate to be unoriginal, but Cubert really blows. I'm glad they haven't turned him into an every-episode character.(The Route of All Evil sounds pretty lame though...I hope it ends up being a lot better than the plot synopsis makes it sound)

I dont go on with this diskussion about Amy and Hermes. I like Amy because she is so dumb and easy to have and Hermes is needed to diskriminate Zoidy.

suckin´ character really is cubert,´cause his role in the series is so boring.(except for getting hit by closing doors or being a 3-litre test-blood giveaway).and some other boring guys are the ones of the robot mafia.´though I´m sorry for her, Amy is the most un-entertaining regular character.

Do you all realize that this topic is close to a year old and most of the people on the first page aren't even here anymore? Okay as long as... Cubert is not that bad... why does everyone hate him so much? And amy too... I never realized there were so many hostilities towards her... I personally think that that guy that leela likes in the cyberhouse rules is easily hateable... of course they were trying to make him hated so it isn't quite the same but still he both sucks and blows

Hi, I started this thread a LONG time ago. I havent been here since. Its a hoot to go through all of these messages...

Anyway, after all of this time, I change my mind about Hermes. He's not the most rounded character, but he is indeed a good foil for Zoidberg.

I now hate Nibbler the most. I hate his damn lame cutesy voice. He sucks like Elroy's alien pal on the Jetsons--Actually, I take that back. Nibbler sucks more.

And I hate Scruffy. Just kidding, he rules.

That's odd...you've posted at least twice, but it still says you only have one post. Oh well.

My least favorite character is Mom. She's not funny, and her voice is really annoying(plus I've heard the same voice on a million other cartoons...I hate unoriginal voice acting. Fishful of Dollars is one of my least favorite episodes...Mother's Day was good, but the character of Mom was still really annoying.
