I noticed that some of the pictures I put up have broken links, so I'm reposting some here.

Where else could you see a burlap sack entered into a fashion show? mmmm...Leela...slave girl...oh my...

Maybe it's just how cute she looks in the framegrab, but after looking these over again I think my favorite is the ski suit.  While the dresses are a sultry blend of silken seduction and the lingerie and wrestling garb are smokin' hot, what I find uniquely appealing is the outdoor active-wear and what it represents. She would be out there with a guy skiing or hiking, camping, drinking, swimming or skeet shooting and looking damn fine doing it all. Yes, she's a real man's man's woman, if that makes any sense.

No, I'm not one of those dress fetish weirdos and I think posting pictures of a cartoon character and discussing favorite outfits go a long way to demonstrate just how normal and healthy a person I am. Yesiree.

I love the shot where she's lined up with Fry's "yak yak" drawing.

It makes alot of sense actually. I'm just sticking with they all look good. Which gives me the impression that it it's the person wearing the clothes that makes them look good. I mean, not many people can sucessfully pull of the "Burlap Sack" look.

I was thinking about this thread yesterday at work, and I had an idea for the fan art people.

Leela would look absolutly freaking amazing wearing a US Navy sage green flight suit, flight helmet in hand, and a Tomcat parked behind her! That would be EPIC!    :D

Actually...yeah, that would look pretty cool.

And I definitely agree with the sentiment about the person making the clothes; Amy, cute as she is, couldn't carry a lot of Leela's outfits (though that does cut both ways).  :)

That's because they've got two different looks. Amy has the petité/cute thing going, while Leela is more shapely, for lack of a better word.

Why would you need a 'better word'? Shapely does the job very well, I think.  ;)

At least until she had that cuteness reduction surgery.  ;)

"For lack of a better word" was my way of saying "most apropriate" word. Do wolf noises count as a word?

I'd say wolf whistles count. Considering who we're talking about, they might get you a broken nose if she heard, but they count.   :D

I tell you one outfit that should be on a new poll...the one Leela's wearing in the 2008 calendar (November; I couldn't find an online image). Amy's wearing much the same outfit in the picture, and is even showing a little more skin, but Leela carries it off better; she has better curves.  :)

(Apologies for the double post.)

That's the one. Amy looks cute, but Leela...pure heat. Other than the opera dress, she's never looked better.

(And yes folks, I do realise she's just a cartoon character. Just, well, one with nice curves. *ahem*)  ;)

Best example I could find is already on PEEL; not too easy to spot it but you get the idea.

It is quite nice, very Moulin Rouge. As usual Leela is flinging daggers at Amy with her eye, but just as usual (in my opinion) Leela is looking oh so much hotter.

Whoops. *slaps forehead* Shows what happens when you don't use that 'Search' feature, doesn't it...  :D

You'll find no disagreement here; like I said earlier, Amy has the cuteness and extra skin showing, but only Leela has the curves (and frankly, the class), to turn that outfit from merely 'hot' to completely stunning. She'd certainly leave Fry breathless if she showed up at his door in that little number.  :)

Dangit! Where's my Leela USN fighter pilot fan art pic???

I figured it'd be created by now, what with all the talent on this forum.

Just mention it to Archonix on his art thread. You'll either get something really hot or really disturbing.

PS: I think I saw an RAF Leela picture on TLZ somewhere. That's close, plus there's a Spit in the background.

I don't remember what ep- i think it was in the commentary... I don't know. Whatever.

But I remember hearing/reading Billy West explaining Fry's attracion to Leela over Amy. He said: "Fry likes Leela more because she has more sweater-meat."

Mmkay. Wow.

So give me us outfit that shows more "sweater-meat" and we'll all be feeling like Fry.

Any idea who the artist was? I found one where Leela's flying a WW2 plane, but that's about it.

Uh, hold up, as fine as this one is, it can wait a little while; your talents are required elsewhere at the moment.

Everyone please leave Archonix alone for a few days. There is important work afoot that can not be interrupted. Now move along please. Thank you.

1) That's WWII era British "Spitfire."
2) I could be mistaken, but that looks like Zed85's work.
EDIT:
Found it.
You might want to look at the top of the linked page to see who drew the picture.

She seems to love to wear stuff that shows off her belly button, even if that immediate area is the only thing exposed.

This seems to a be a general fashion trend circa 3000...clothes that have random holes cut in them.

As for Va or Vb. I'd say it's a Va because alot of the Vbs had clipped wings. I can't tell for sure though without looking at the cockpit.

I'm a wealth of off-topic knowlege.
