I think that if Leela died, it would have to be somethign failry ambiguous, in order for her to come back in the film (I live inm hope).

Or the film could be about how they manage to bring her back. Maybe by keeping her brain, and transferring it to a clone, then using Chronitons to age her body.

It's Sci-Fi. Death isn't the end in Sci-Fi.
