Bender - of course  - but Zoidberg is also pure genius - Let's make a crustacean a Jewish entertainer holding his nose.  Also I like it when Amy loses it and swears Chinese-style.

When Amy swears is that actually Chinese swearing or just jibberish?

I think an earlier thread discussion found that Amy swears in Cantonese.

EDIT: Well, if Gocad says that the documentary says that Amy speaks Chinese, you'd better go with him on this one.

Amy does speak chinese, it's mentioned in the "The Series has landed" commentary. Anyway, my vote goes to Nixon, President of Earth. Arrroo!

Since Cantonese is a Chinese dialect (the one spoken around Canton, Hong-Kong and Kowloon), you're both technically correct (the best kind of correct).

Personally, I like Bender's voice the best.  It has just the right amount of attitude, sincerity, and hilarity.

Although Zapp's voice is deep and sexy and stuff, Fry's voice is the all around best!(Just like Fry himself) Billy West has to be the most talented voice over artist out there. If he can make a voice like Fry's he's #1 in my book.

A hard choice.  If it is the voice I most want to wake up to, hard choice between Amy and Leela.  Both Lauren and Katey have great voices, and I love when Amy swears.  But, the poll is "character voice", and of the choices here, that is Farnsworth or Zoidberg..., and I don't think there is a time Farnsworth hasn't at least induced a chuckle.  Zoidy is great, and it is a hard choice, but its Farnsworth by an insane mutter.

If that's the challenge Leela win, hands down, no contest, done deal.

But otherwise it's Zoidy (another Billy West classic).

Zoidberg! His is the most unique. But like Hil says, Katey's range is good. For Leela.

In genuinely sad moments, Leela's crying just doesn't work. However, in moments such as...

Fry: Just look her in the eye, start crying and say *sad voice* "I've never been so happy!"
Leela: Aw! If a guy ever did that to me I'd know it! Wait a second, they've all been doing that to me! Even Sean! *runs off crying*

...it works like a charm!  laff

However, Segal's terrible acting of the 'stupid Leela' in The Day The Earth Stood Stupid means she's not my pick.

My vote goes to The Professor, the voice that I most wish I could impersonate. His voice is just so comical that it makes phrases like 'pelvic splaknik ganglean' sound funny even when they're not supposed to be the punchline.
Even funnier is when Billy and John do the Professor voice in the DVD commentaries. Their Prof moments in the A Pharoah To Remember commentary are just priceless.

Dr John Zoidberg it is,

Bender - i have a busted ass, i don't see anyone kissing it!
Zoidberg - alright im coming
(gose somthing like that)

That line cracks me up every time, there are so many Zoidberg lines, all better than the one before it!  laff

Yes, Zoidberg is winning! *Dances* I voted for him, naturally. He has the best voice. It's so cute and original,a nd it has such a range. Everyone is familiar with his normal speaking voice, but he also makes those purring and cooing noises, and that terrible scream, and that "Woob woob woob woob!"

*Nod nod* Yup, everything Zoidberg says is funny. Heck, he doesn't even have to SAY anything to be funny. Just the noises he makes are funny. Billy West is a genious. After Zoidberg, my favorite character voices are Fry and the Professor, again proving that Billy West rocks.
