The T-Rex in "I dated a robot" looked cute. Looked better than the ones in Jurrasic Park.

Gotta agree with Fred. The gun-toting penguins *were* badass. The popplers are cool, too, if you want to call them an animal.

And, of course, the H Y P N O T O A D !

Third place has gotta be a tie between the electric snail and Binky.  Binky from MG's "Life In Hell," who made a cameo appearance in Xmas Story.

Runner-up is Dave Spiegel and his owner Fluffers.

Honorable mention goes to the same-sex animal couples in "Crimes of the Hot."  Did you notice how they showed mostly species where the male looks different from the female, like lions, elk and peacocks?

And grand prize goes to...

THE.  HYPNOTOAD.

ALL...  GLORY...  TO...  THE...  HYPNOTOAD!!!!

Hah. I actually saw a yak face vintage mint-in-package figure in a comic store once.....700 dollars!!!

Anyway, I like the Buggalo!!! They're just adorable. I love insects and other invertebrates. Also the giant rideable spiders from the buggalo episode (though we first saw buggalo briefly in episode 2, the series has landed) I liked the giant cockroach in the ep with fry's girlfriend, too. Can't remember if there's been any other giant insects/arachnids. I wonder what a space wasp looks like...

Also the electric snail, the giant squid that attacked the underwater apartment, the neptunian slug, and though we never see it, the "vampire slug" sounds pretty cool (was on the list of animals in the ep that introduced nibbler

And yes, I love the Hypnotoad as well.

You might not have long to wait before finding out.  I have a slight suspicion that "The Sting" (4ACV12) is about Planet Express crew's much-anticipated rematch with the fiendish buggers.  Let's hope they fare better than their predecessors did. Oh, those poor sons of... uh.. but that's not important!

C'mon, what about Citizen Snips?
I also like all the cute little owls that seem to have taken the place of all the rats.

Deleted scenes ... awww, again something just on DVD, right?
Well, do you have a framegrab of this bug? I never saw it and now I'm really curious.  :D

Nope, I only have a 'regular' DVD player, so that would be quite impossible. But Helpy McHelpHelp may suddenly emerge with a framegrab and save the day *looks to the skies*

Rats do still exist...one was mutated into a bat-winged pig-headed fish in the ep introducing leela's parents and they've been seen elsewhere. They just aren't pests anymore but owls are  :) (My gf has rats as pets incidentally. They're super cute)

I liked the giant tapeworm in the ep where they all went younger. Kinda disgusting though, when you realize how it had to have gotten there..........

The electric snail and all the rare creatures Nibbler eats, the drawings and ideas are really good if you look at the picture properly.  :)
