As many of you know, most guest stars don't come back. But what DOES happen to them?
BTW, This is my first topic.
There are many, many spoilers for episodes, so this'll be in a spoiler box.

Do you know any other guest characters who disappeared?

The guy who dated Leela is Adlai.

Í don't think these characters disappeared. They're recurring characters, they show up from time to time. Beelzebot have been in 2 episodes already, and as you said he will return again.

Gore already appeared twice, etc. Angelyne simply wasn't an interesting character to begin with.

Welcome to PEEL, HawkingHole4000. Enjoy it here.

Thanks.
...I never saw him in the 2nd episode, but I saw him in "Hell Is Other Robots" (or I will when the R1 Season 1 DVD comes out, I missed the FOX and CN airings)
Angelyne WAS a good character, IMHO. I REALLY liked Angelyne

The Robot Devil just had a bit part in "A Tale of Two Santas".

(as Bender is being taken to be executed)

Robot Convict: "Hey, when you see the Robot Devil, you tell him I'm-a coming!"
(in the next cell is the Robot Devil)
Bender: "Uh, this guy says..."
Beelzbot: "I heard!"

Angleyne was horrible! Though chances are she went to the Galapagos Island to party with the other robots.

...Well, I thought the episode was good.

Also, Hawking never came back. Of course, that was a What-If but still.
And what happened to the Star Trek Guys
[I don't remember "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" that much, It was one of the 1st episodes of Futurama I ever saw, the 1st being "A Leela of Their Own".]

I guess they went back to the head museum, why not. Afterall, Nimoy and Frakes were already there.

"A Leela Of Her Own"? I love that episode, sadly I'm in a minority.

Didnt Al Gore head off to pick up cans on Jupiter (or one of its moons?), at the end of the Kyoto Convention thingo?

Here’s the Number 9 Guy
He also appeared in 'My Three Suns', maybe some others eps as well, but I'm not sure. I remember making a thread about him around a year ago  :)

Although Beelzebot has only said something in 2 episodes so far, he's actually appeared in 3. First of all he was in ‘Hell is other Robots’, then he had a small part in ‘A Tale of Two Santas’, and the other ep which he appeared in was ‘Crimes of the Hot’. He appeared twice at the robot party. On one of the opening shots of the party he can be seen flying across the screen with some of his minions behind him. And in his second appearance he’s watching Bender and Preacherbot. Here’s a pic of his second appearance

We did see one of the Star Trek guys heads in 'Space Pilot 3000'. But probably the main reason we haven't seen any of them after is because 'Where No Fan Has Gone Before' is still the newest episode of Futurama which has currently aired. Despite Fox's so called 'fith season', all of the episodes which have been in it so far are older. At the moment we haven't seen anything past 'WNFHGB' yet  :)

Actually, Here in the US we're up to "Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles", which by now you should know that FOX delays it FOR FOREVER!
