You know they built a wrist communicator thing for Dick Tracy that included a TV monitor. I can see Nintendo coming out with a wrist thingy soon. You can hook it up to a Wii. Just to play Tetris.

Leela's more of a single "pong" gamer...

Episode Transcript: Space Pilot 3000

Quote
Leela talks into her wrist communicator.]

Leela: This is officer 1B-DI requesting back-up.

Like above I think the thing wrapped around Leela's wrist is called a communicator. Humm?

It's squash.

Yes, I think that's a shining reference to the first video game ever.

Edit: "Pong" is it's name.

I have an extremely old pong machine, it has two game modes, regular "Pong" and one with a paddle and a wall like shown in that framegrab called "Squash".

She is playing Squash.

Yeah, that's squash. I used to play it too.

Damn it, now after looking at that shot, all I see is cleavage...  :flirt:

And I just had a vision of Leela turning towards the camera and punching me.

Definition of Pathetic: getting your jollies from cartoon cleavage.

Just as good as real cleavage if you're accustomed to watching cartoons.

Still, at least we're not the only ones…

Lister: D'ya think Wilma's sexy?
Cat: Wilma Flintstone?
Lister: Maybe we've been alone in deep space too long, but every time I see that body, it drives me crazy. Is it me?
Cat: Well, I think in all probability, Wilma Flintstone is the most desirable woman that ever lived.
Lister: That's good. I thought I was going strange.
Cat: She's incredible!
Lister: What d'ya think of Betty?
Cat: Betty Rubble? Well, I would go with Betty... but I'd be thinking of Wilma.
Lister: This is crazy. Why are we talking about going to bed with Wilma Flintstone?
Cat: You're right. We're nuts. This is an insane conversation.
Lister: She'll never leave Fred, and we know it.

If this is what you're still looking for, I assume hobbitboy was joking that you had a power to make discussions irrelevant (because, after Futurama_Freak1 said it was now an irrelevant discussion, you asked if that was because you were involved and hobbitboy presumably ran with this idea).

I've always thought Leela played Tetris on it.   In case nobody noticed, Amy has one, too.  She wears hers with her sweat suit.  Also, I think Leela's wrist thingy might be like a GPS system that gives directions and see how old people are and what they like and stuff.  That's what I've always thought the wrist band was for.
